As such, would you be willing to share a piece of yours? I can tell you a little of mine. I was raised on a desert planet by a species known as Vulcans. They pride logic above all else and focus on the pursuit of knowledge and truth.

We have ample machines to collect moisture and weather satellites to help regulate temperature so it is not unlivable. Desert planets are treacherous areas, but the more urban areas of Vulcan are quite sustainable.

It's not common but Vulcan is highly technologically advanced. A lot of the natural desert problems were phased out long ago.
