My friends, one of the many things I've very much enjoyed while on the Fleet is the ability to experience enjoyable things I never would have had had the opportunity to hear about back on Thedas. A 'water park' seems to be one of those. I am interested in seeing what the fuss is about... Especially if I can convince Kolivan to experience it with me. [Oh, he will. That is going to happen.] Meeting him as been other one of those things, after all, and combining them could be fun.

My concern is this. [He lifts his left hand, showing off the silver cybernetic prosthetic.] When it was installed I was reassured it's waterproof and I've had no issues with it in the shower and such, but somehow this seems different.

Does anyone have experience with these sorts of limbs? Can you check that it will still function properly even if I take it down a 'water slide'? [He seems to enjoy saying 'water slide' even though he can't fully conceptualize what it is.]

[Waterpark (for Kolivan)]

[Just as he had suggested on the network, he is able to convince Kolivan to come with him to check out the water park. Now they are both in bathing suits and t-shirts (very out of place for both of them, honestly) and side by side as Cyril considers the slides.

He has been reassured that his arm is waterproof, but now that he's here, he realizes that he hadn't considered his khol.]

Oh... I just realized this is going to make my eyes run.

[He was excited about the new experience and hadn't fully thought ahead. Don't judge him.]

[He waits until Cyril has finished washing up and turns to him when he sees that he's done. Though he will acknowledge that the Elf looks different like this, he also believes that this look suits him as much as any other.]

Your physical appearance has not diminished with the removal of the paint.

[He's...attempting to reassure him that he's still attractive.]

[That is exactly how Cyril takes it, and it's touching to him. He offers Kolivan a smile of appreciation.]

It's good to know you like what you see. [He teases, because being playful with Kolivan is always fun.]

[With a nod, he looks back to the park and just...stops.

Well. Um... He's lost.]

What are we meant to do here?

Well, I want to try out the slides. I've heard they're a bit of a thrill.

I think we can see if you'll fit in them? [He still seems pretty excited about this idea, even as he's teasing Kolivan. ]

They seem...small.

[But he supposes they can try them together. So he turns to move that way. From what he can see the entrance is at the top of a great stairway.]

That is a good point, and I wouldn't want you to get stuck...

Hmm. Maybe we can try one of the open ones?

Perhaps.

[He's still not sure he understands the point of the slides but Cyril wants to try them. So here he is climbing the steps to one of the more open ones, pausing at the top because it makes more sense for Cyril to be in front on the inner tube.]

[The point is a new experience! Though he isn't expecting Kolivan to enjoy that as much as he does, it means something that he's willing to at least try. He climbs into the inner tube in front of Kolivan and lets Kolivan take the back before they are sent down the slide.

And the experience turns out to be a lot of fun for him. He whoops in enjoyment at the way that they move down the slide, and lets his body press back into Kolivan's until they get to the pool at the bottom with a splash.]

[Kolivan finds the experience to be very...wet. Since it is a water park, he supposes that is very much, well, the point. So as the land in the lazy river to float along there, he looks to Cyril to determine if this slide was successful.

Ah. He had fun. He supposes it was...good.]

[Cyril focuses on getting clear of the slide and then looks back at Kolivan with a wide, happy grin.]

What did you think?

It was wet.

[Please don't mind him. He's still learning what the concept of fun actually is since he's never really had it.]

You enjoyed it?

[Honestly that's his bigger priority.]

I did. [He replies honestly.] And it's better knowing you tried it with me.

Are there other things you wish to try?

[Because Cyril liked this. So he's willing to try more since it makes him happy.]

[Cyril looks around them.] I think there's a wading pool he could relax in? Or a few more of the slides. I can even try one of the closed ones myself...

[Because they don't want him to get stuck.] Or more that we can do together?

I can wait at the bottom if you wish to partake in a closed one.

[He's just too broad for those, he thinks.]

They seem as though they would be something you enjoy.

They really are. [Cyril isn't going to lie and he appreciates that Kolivan is going to give him the space to experience another one..] I'll be right back down and then we can do something together.

[Before he leaves though, he moves closer to Kolivan.] Bend down here for a second.

[He looks confused but he does as he's told and bends down as requested, head tilted just a little to the side.]

[Cyril kisses him. It's a quick, chaste peck - not wanting to get too into public displays of affection - but it's still a kiss. That's the only reason he asked Kolivan to bend down.

Then he leaves to get to one of the slides.]

[His eyes widen as he stands up to his full height again, watching Cyril go.

Lifting his hand to his face, he blinks twice before slowly walking to the river where the slides let out so that way he can be there to meet Cyril at the end.]

[Kolivan probably hears Cyril as he goes down the slide. He still enjoys it fully. The whole thing is a kind of thrill that he doesn't think he'll ever be able to experience again, so he wants to take all of the joy from it that he can.

When he splashes down into the bottom pool he is still grinning, even as he swims over to where Kolivan is.]

[He hears him and is even able to track that joyful voice all the way down until he splashes into the bottom. Meeting him part way, he actually smiles a bit before pushing a floaty away from them so it's not just needlessly bumping against them.

He's just pleased Cyril had fun, alright.]

[Seeing Kolivan smile feels like a final reward for the ride. He grins up at Kolivan after he emerges from the water. He's wet and dripping and he couldn't be happier.]

That was a lot of fun.

[As he'd expected, Cyril had been able to have fun on the slide all the same. He pushes some of that wet hair out of his face so he can have a better time seeing it.]
