My friends, one of the many things I've very much enjoyed while on the Fleet is the ability to experience enjoyable things I never would have had had the opportunity to hear about back on Thedas. A 'water park' seems to be one of those. I am interested in seeing what the fuss is about... Especially if I can convince Kolivan to experience it with me. [Oh, he will. That is going to happen.] Meeting him as been other one of those things, after all, and combining them could be fun.

My concern is this. [He lifts his left hand, showing off the silver cybernetic prosthetic.] When it was installed I was reassured it's waterproof and I've had no issues with it in the shower and such, but somehow this seems different.

Does anyone have experience with these sorts of limbs? Can you check that it will still function properly even if I take it down a 'water slide'? [He seems to enjoy saying 'water slide' even though he can't fully conceptualize what it is.]

[Waterpark (for Kolivan)]

[Just as he had suggested on the network, he is able to convince Kolivan to come with him to check out the water park. Now they are both in bathing suits and t-shirts (very out of place for both of them, honestly) and side by side as Cyril considers the slides.

He has been reassured that his arm is waterproof, but now that he's here, he realizes that he hadn't considered his khol.]

Oh... I just realized this is going to make my eyes run.

[He was excited about the new experience and hadn't fully thought ahead. Don't judge him.]

He's admitted me likes me? I mean, he's admitted that to me, in his own way. It's fun to know he's done it with other people too.

Well, he didn't say those exact words per say but it is the impression that he's given? or that I've interpreted.

I wouldn't say I speak fluent Kolivan but I'm a quick learner?

Learning to 'speak Kolivan' has been very fun for me. I love how he'll be so blunt and forthcoming but also leave out anything he doesn't think is necessary. It can be a very efficient method of communication.

And it means that if he's talking to you, he's deemed you worthy of his time. I never have to second guess if he likes being around me, because if he didn't he would just leave. It wouldn't even be personal, just a fact.

He's actually a lot like my adoptive father in how, taciturn he is. He's actually worse than B really but that might just be because I don't have years of practice and am not familiar with Galra body language.

It's funny how people like that can inspire a lot of loyalty because when they see fit to praise you or pay you any attention it feels so special.

That likely comes in handy given what he does back home.

I can't imagine running a spy network without loyalty is easy.

I've seen it go the other way as well though. That desperation to be so important to a person who doesn't or sometimes doesn't know how to give out the praise.

Devotion and resentment is an ugly combination.

Ah, yes. I could see that.

We would need to secure a way to avoid that feeling of resentment?

I don't think that's possible? To secure it anyway? It's just something you have to keep an eye out for.
