[It had seemed to Furiosa like no time had passed at all; she'd been on the Starstruck, and then she'd been at home very briefly, and then ... she was back on the Marsiva. From there, she'd been shuffled onto the Vanquish, and had decided to quietly explore and reacquaint herself with the fleet before making a public introduction.]

[Now it is that time. The video is her quarters on her new ship. She's in her welcome outfit, having lost the wardrobe she'd built up for herself in her previous time here. As well, she'd need a new prosthetic; her left arm ends just shy of the elbow.]

It seems to me like a lot more time has passed for me than what it feels like. Anyone want to give me an update?

Action

[She hadn't been too familiar with the Vanquish before, so she takes her time to wander the ship and meet her new shipmates; see if there are any familiar faces.

She does make some time to go visit the gardens on the Iskaulit, walking about to see what changes have been made since the last time she was here - which didn't feel all that long ago. It was a surreal and odd feeling.

Feel free to interrupt her during this introspective walkabout.]

[Furiosa was in Kenn-Tellnic finishing up a job, and decided to do a bit of exploring afterwards before picking up another. The city was certainly something to behold; nothing like anything she'd seen in her previous time with the Fleet, and certainly nothing that had existed in her own run-down ruined world.

Passing by a small bar, she catches the sight of some of the patrons through a window and sees a familiar face. Unsurprised to find him here, Furiosa wanders in and pulls up a seat next to Tyrion.]

[Furiosa chuckles; sounds like her kind of crew. ]

Is this ship equipped with weapons? I stashed the First Breath with an armory, plan to do the same here.

[Just keeping her new captain updated on her intent, and seeing what they already had and what they might need. ]</ small>

Depends on exactly what you mean by equipped. [Though really, there's not a meaning for which the answer isn't yes.] We have crew with security augments. And some of us already like to sleep with a knife under their pillow.

[Or a small fire arm taped under the bunk. Or tasers hidden between the mattress and the wall.

Natasha likes having options.]

I've got the pilot augment here, but back in the Wasteland I was an Imperator, I survived with a collection of firearms, knives, and ... pretty much anything. [Also sleeps with a knife under her pillow. And a few other places as well.]

I don't like the idea of being caught unarmed.

A pilot will be good to have. [For what it's worth. They only get so much control, but better to be as fully staffed as possible.]

It shouldn't be a problem getting you kitted up if you need a weapon or two. I'll check what I have.

Just something to start out with; once I get settled again I can get back to building my personal collection.

[Leaving the coffee on the counter, Natasha wipes her hands and heads toward her cabin.]

I'm sure I have a knife around here that would could describe as a starter. Hold on just a sec.

[Furiosa watches Natasha leave, then looks over at the coffee and gets up, pulling out and filling a tin cup for herself. She leans against the counter and sips, waiting for Natasha to return.]

[It's only a moment. Then Natasha reappears carrying a pair of knives. Neither is especially large, one fairly standard utility knife, the other a smaller blade, easy to hide and suitable for throwing in a pinch. Both have blackened blades so they won't flash if they catch the light.]

[She sets the cup down and takes the blades in her hand, feeling the weight and balance. Considering the scrap she's had to work with in the past, something this nice is a pleasant change of pace.] These are slick, I'll take good care of them. Shouldn't take me too long to get get back into the game.

It's not a problem. I like to stay well equipped.

[Which isn't to say she doesn't expect them back and in good shape, but until she sees evidence to the contrary, she'll take Furiosa's word on it.]

I'll feel better knowing you have a weapon if things head south anyway.

[She tucks the knives in her belt, then picks up her coffee again.

In most ways, no. Not sure exactly when you left; there might have been a few changes.

[The more things change, the more they stay the same.]

There were calibrations not so long ago. Not that those are new.

Before the calibrations. Would have been my third here, but ... I can't say I'm sorry to have passed them by.
