[To say that Naltryd has been confused lately is to say that there's just a little bit of pollen on the surface of this planet. Adjusting to a temporary life aboard this ship fleet is one thing, but this? This entire world they're on?]

To anyone from worlds with a lesser level of technology than here--here being this fleet, and this planet--how have you managed to adjust? I could honestly use some advice, as my head is spinning with all the new things I encounter past every corner. I don't suppose there is a good instruction manual for all of this, after all.



[B - Planetside]

[Despite her absolute confusion on many of things, Naltryd still intends to explore the world they've arrived at. And explore she does--and get lost she does. One might spot her in the middle of a shopping mall in awe, wonderment, and a little bit of fear as she's likely completely lost. She wanders about from store to store, building to building, eyeing the copious VR booths wearily in the meantime. Help a girl out with all of this?]



[C - Iskaulit]

[Being trapped on this fleet is no reason to forego her training. It wouldn't do for the Warrior of Light to get rusty, after all. One can find Naltryd in the Iskaulit's gym, practicing both her swordwork and her magic. No training dummy will receive mercy from her rapier or her spells. The combination of melee and magic makes even just a training session quite a sight to behold.]

[Bucky is not exactly the world's best shopper, but he's certainly not the worst. He's always had some kind of eye for fashion, and a good head for numbers, and a deep desire to get things of value whenever possible. So he does at least feel more prepared than the figure he runs across staring around the mall in awe - and yeah, wow, he knows the feeling, but fortunately, he's had a little exposure since then.]

[The planet is too overwhelming for any kind of meaningful practice. The city is too dense, and the surface too unpredictable. With most people skipping down to the planet, he doesn't expect to find someone else in the gym.]

She spotted Naltryd, though, and gave her a wave in greeting.]

[They were on the same ship, and both fairly new, so it was nice to know they both still had some adjusting to do.]
