[ the feed turns on, though it seems to start with a burst of static and a blurry screen before it finally seems to straighten itself out. though the scene you might be seeing seems a little . . . hard to take in. mostly because it looks like everything has been frozen. plants, grass and giant dinosaurs like T-Rexs that were in mid-lunge to bite on . . . a huddled lump who has a quilt over their head and cocooned deep within the covers. And also happens to be sneezing a lot. ]

This — [ loki sneezes, looking pale, harried and a little . . . blue. ] — Is the worst. Why is everything so — [ another loud sneeze. ] — uncomfortable?! And how do you make it stop?!

[ loki laughs which devolves into a slight cough. ]

Not simply freeze. You could die.

How...can I help you then?

Just . . . lead me back to the shuttles and to my ship. All I need is another pair of eyes.

And you expect to fly it....how?

[Steve sighs and moves a little closer but doesn't touch.]

Alright. C'mon, pal. I'll take you to my ship until you're no longer sneezing icicles.

[dothelokimotion]

[ loki rises to his feet, sneezing once more and muttering. ]

What a wretched form this is.

[Steve offers him a sympathetic smile]

I get that. Spent most of my life hating my body. Nothing I could do to change it either. At least this is temporary.

That was different. This is not my body. It has never been my body.

[Steve feels like he's had this conversation before but with another person.]

What do you mean by that?

[dothelokimotion]

[ loki purses his lips. ]

It doesn't feel like mine. I've never worn it. Never lived in it. I lived as an Asgardian. When I'm like this, everything feels wrong.

[Steve's lips purse up too in response.]

You still look like you. A little...more blue, but you don't look like a stranger. I'd pick you out of a line up.

Even so. It is always uncomfortable. Like a suit I've never worn before.

And I do not think I will put it on often.

It doesn't look bad. Really, Lok.

[He puts a hand on the small of his back to lead him.]

But we'll get you back to the ship and get you comfortable. Soup, tea, and some blankets should help.

[ he knows it's not that bad. that he's being irrational about this. but the churning sensation hasn't left him not to mention he's feeling sick. ]

[Steve offers a smile and starts the walk back to his ship. No way is Loki piloting when he could freeze his controls with a sneeze.]

You've really never gotten sick before?

[ loki frowns, mulling it over. ]

No. Sometimes I would feel overheated, but I was never debilitated in any way.
