[ When the video flickers to life, it's to a cat girl in what looks like some really cute and supremely comfortable clothes. She waves pleasantly and then clears her throat. Weirdly enough, her accent is... Welsh? Okay then. ]

Hello! My name is O'danya, and I've come to realize that I've a talent that might be very useful to the people stranded here with not much option for clothing. Simple clothes or our jumpsuits may be fine for some, but for others it is only an insult to our true potential.

That is why I'm offering my services as a master weaver and leatherworker to create outfits for anyone who would like them. Of course, this will not be free, but if you are willing to provide your own materials, I'll be much more accommodating in price. [ That gets a grin. She won't scalp you guys... much... ] That said, leather itself is difficult to find out on stations like this, but I've still some circles left over from our visit to Mor — outfits including them will full price for the rarity of material.

Of course I do. The attire I wear is one example, but I can retrieve others if you'd so wish.

Perhaps we could arrange a personal viewing, then, so I can examine it more closely? And your general aesethic. I have my preference but I'm not opposed to creativity.

That is a wonderful idea. You are most certainly welcome to visit me on the Caprine to see what I've on offer. As for style, I can make a wide variety of clothing types and if you have something specific in mind, there's no harm in trying something new, either!

[He chuckles] For me or for you?

In any case, the proper materials might take some time to gather funds for. I don't do cheap.

For both of us. I doubt anyone could say this entire experience does not apply for expanding their horizons, so what is one more thing to add?

[Felix nods in acknowledgement and cuts the feed before gathering himself and heading out to find where the Caprine is docked.

He allows himself a polite knock but doesn't really wait for anyone to answer it before heading inside to search out O'danya]

[ She isn't far. While Felix made his way over, she went to retrieve some of the other articles she's made since Mor. There's plenty of them, some ranging from purely functional leather armors and cloth robes to more aesthetic outfits, such as the sailor pieces. ]

Ah, there you are. No trouble found you along the way, I see.

[He edges over to cast his eyes across the samples]

Your style tends towards the practical, I see.

It is simply a matter of working with what I know. In my line of work, garments such as these see more use than every day wear.

Regardless of that, my talent lends itself just as well to less function-oriented pieces! Depending on the material, I've been known to merge the two just as well.

Hm. And what is your line of work?

Adventuring. Often it takes me in interesting and unexpected directions, often dangerous, so one must be prepared.

[lord_wizard]

Prepared, but not unfashionable. I can respect that.

If nothing else, my travels have helped me form a wider understanding of what does and does not work when putting clothes together. What is your own wont if I may ask?

[lord_wizard]

[He chuckles preemptively at this own expense] I've never been very good at practicality. I prefer comfort but also a certain level of individuality. I don't like to blend in.

[paeon]

In a place like this, the only thing that would keep you from standing out is to clothe yourself in burlap. [ these jumpsuits are the worst jfc ] However, that might still give me somewhere to start. Do you have any preferred colors or fabric types?

[lord_wizard]

Anything but black, and even then I can make exceptions with the right detailing, though I suppose I'd restrict the list to darker tones. No pastels. I can let you borrow my jacket, if you like, as a guide.

How about this? You make one outfit for me, and then if I like your work, we can work out an ongoing stipend - a small segment of my weekly funds that you can use to gather supplies as you find them.

I believe that would work out wonderfully for us both. With your jacket, I could extrapolate something to go with it and see how it might fit the rest of your style.

For such an arrangement, I believe the best course of action would be to exchange our numbers then, correct? [ It's like linkshells! Only more personal. She's down with this. ]

I'm using to writing letters, though I suppose that would be the method here, wouldn't it? [He fumbles out his communicator and tells her his ID. The process is very strange for someone who went from ink and paper to magical ink and paper]

[ O'danya well understands the strangeness of the technology. She is, however, wonderful at faking it until she makes it when it comes to adapting and it seems to be serving her well even here. Her own communicator comes out and she reciprocates with her ID. ]
