Who: Zuko
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: SS Bishop
When: Now
[ When the video starts up the face on the screen sure doesn't look happy, but then again it so rarely does. ]
I've been here long enough to have gotten my bearings, so I won't waste time with that. Right now there's only one thing I want to know, and I refuse to believe no one can answer that for me.
[ His jaw sets. And he does his best to make sure it looks like he's standing up straight and means business here. Even over video he wants to come across as having a certain air of "no nonsense allowed". ]
I'll keep it short. Tell me who or what is Atroma, and where can I find them.

[Hey Zuko, hey. Sokka really does look happy to see him, at least.]
They're the people running this thing. My guess? They're probably on the Marsiva, that really big ship? But there doesn't seem a way to get into it. I've been collecting maps and star charts, trying to find a way to break free and get outta here. I'm working on it.
Video
[ See, Zuko? See the sort of things that you could have learned if you'd just posted to this network sooner? He looks genuinely surprised, but at least pleasantly so. This is a lot better than he thought, at least he's not alone here.
Catch up can come later though. Business first. ]
The Marsiva? So you think they've been right here this entire time?
[ His tone gets lower, and he looks off to the side. Not actually in the direction of the ship, but he's currently inside a sealed up room right now, so he can't really tell which way that'd be at the moment. He'll find a way in no matter what if that's the case though. Mark his words.
Though hey, there's some other information that Sokka just gave him that sounds important too. ]
How far have you gotten with the maps?
[ So where's the friendly banter. The catching up with each other? No? None of that? Just straight to business? Alright then... We'll do it the Zuko way since you're so insistent. ]

Re: Video
Excuse me, but there is no film crew on the Marsiva -- I'm on it now and there are only a few people, all recently arrived and confused. My name is Zee. Do you think I could see your charts sometime?

I don't know... Has anyone answered you? I would like to know. Apparently they are who brought us here, for a "reality" show that there's no evidence of.
video
[ A beat. ]
But what kind of evidence would you need to see to know if it's really a "reality show"?
[ Stressing those last two words big time. This is all way out of his depth of understanding, even with the augment helping he figure out how to use all of this technology, it's a hard concept to wrap his head around with no pervious examples to go off of. ]

Hey, Zuko.
[ look. as far as she's concerned, she's recently spent a year with him barely tolerating her in paradisa. she's going to test the waters before she charges in blindly here. ]
video
But... she's from the future, isn't she? According to Sokka anyway. Did he do something to break her trust again? ]
Katara. Sokka told me you were here.
[ This feels so awkward. He doesn't even know what he did! (this time) ]
How have you been?
[ Real smooth. ]

I'm afraid none of us know who Atroma is or what they look like, much less where they are.
I'm Dr. Crusher by the way, on the Blue Fish. You're Zuko, right?

If anyone knew that, then you probably wouldn't've gotten dragged here to begin with, Einstein.

Knowing who they are doesn't mean anyone's been able to stop them yet.
[ Said like he thinks he's gonna be the one to pull this off.
He doesn't though, not really. Not when his friends who are just as strong if not stronger than him are also here and haven't gotten home yet. ]

though discouraged by being unable to offer him an answer, another watchful pair of eyes would be a valuable thing. so she hopes, anyway. ]
It seems that nothing of substance is known of them, my lord. We're to serve their purpose, I suppose - though I confess, I am not long arrived myself, and can do little bit listen for the time being.
Have you learned anything about them, in asking?
video.
Not really. A friend of mine has a theory, but I don't have anything more than that.

But on the other, he can think of almost no one he'd like to see more. He missed you, Zuko! And so when he answers, it's with a warm and patient smile. ]
You must have patience, nephew. This seems to be a question where the answer does not come so easily.

[ Did his voice just crack? His voice just cracked a little. Sokka told him he was here, but he didn't expect to hear from him so soon. Not like this anyway, not... not in person. He wasn't ready. He hadn't braced himself, and he's having trouble replying to that comment.
He actually looks away from the video for a moment, because he's having trouble getting his feelings in order right now. ]
I know that, I just...
[ He doesn't want to have his first conversation with his uncle feel so impersonal. He has so much he wants to say to him, but he needs to catch up with his friends first. ]
Uncle, what ship are you on?

Not here like a jerk
[And considering his strongest memories of friendship came from years ago when Allen was a teenager? Zuko is like....an amnesiac Peter Pan but with less mischief and more honor and teen drama. Awkward to say the least. So...he just opts to stalk the post silently, making sure nothing goes horribly wrong while being torn about how to go about handling things]
[What a useful tag this one was huh.]
The biggest jerk!
Video
Hi Zuko!! Welcome to outside space!
Video
If you want to welcome me, then do it in person. Meet me on the Blue Fish with Katara and Sokka.
[ That way he can play catch up with everyone at once.
Well, everyone but uncle. That's... something that would be better done without a crowd. ]
