[ When the video starts up the face on the screen sure doesn't look happy, but then again it so rarely does. ]

I've been here long enough to have gotten my bearings, so I won't waste time with that. Right now there's only one thing I want to know, and I refuse to believe no one can answer that for me.

[ His jaw sets. And he does his best to make sure it looks like he's standing up straight and means business here. Even over video he wants to come across as having a certain air of "no nonsense allowed". ]

I'll keep it short. Tell me who or what is Atroma, and where can I find them.

[ YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO FORGIVE HER, zuko... but the first look that katara fixes him with is one of very, very suspicious hope. ]

[ look. as far as she's concerned, she's recently spent a year with him barely tolerating her in paradisa. she's going to test the waters before she charges in blindly here. ]

[ He's a little taken aback by that. He thought they'd become friends, or at the very least that she'd learned to trust him.

But... she's from the future, isn't she? According to Sokka anyway. Did he do something to break her trust again? ]

Katara. Sokka told me you were here.

[ This feels so awkward. He doesn't even know what he did! (this time) ]

[ Real smooth. ]

-- oh, thank the spirits.

[ the suspicious, accusatory expression breaks into something a lot more relaxed, and maybe even borderline embarrassed. ]

Sorry, the last time I really saw you -

[ wait, no, that's an infodump for another time. back that fun bus up, katara. she's briefly tonguetied, and then tries again: ]

It's good to see you, Zuko. Which ship are you on?

[ Yeah... he definitely did something. He doesn't know what, but he did something. AUGH! Why can't he stop messing everything up!?

At least she doesn't seen outright bothered by him being here right now though, so maybe he didn't mess up that badly? He still gives her a questioning look, but doesn't pry for now. ]

The SS Bishop at the moment.

[ Said like he doesn't plan to stick around. He doesn't, but he mostly plans to just up and leave this whole reality show setting. He's planning on taking all his friends with him too. ]

The Blue Fish, with Sokka. Do you want me to come get you? If you want to come see us in person, I mean, I can use one of the shuttles no problem.

[ she's already sort of jamming her shoes on as she talks, anyway, as if she doesn't really plan on giving him a whole lot of say in the matter. ]

I haven't really met anyone on the Bishop before, but the crew seems nice enough.

They're fine.

[ He hasn't spent much time getting to know his new crew yet. He probably should, but there are other things weighing on his mind right now. ]

[ Thanks augment, for making that nice and easy for him. ]

Alright. I'll wait for you by the docking bay.

[ man, if anything, her reservations are morphing into her being really glad to see him like this. it feels like it's been a long time since she's spoken with zuko and had him be anything but outright annoyed at her sheer existence. ]

[ Yeah... he'll apologize for that. Even if it's not something he specifically remembers he will absolutely apologize for that. ]

[ In a bit. Right now he's gotta get to her first, and he's cutting the feed for now. ]

[ zuko cuts the feed, but katara just sort of smiles at the blank communicator. ]
