[By the time he's sorted out that he's no longer in Thedas, Mahna's patience has all but run out. The silence had woken him and the continued lack of birds chattering or insects buzzing unsettles him far more than he expects. Instead, inane music plays under his strained voice.]

I am Lord Inquisitor Lavellan and it would serve you well to return my companions to me.

[He hates titles, hates formality, but if it gets his comrades back, he'll throw them around as much as necessary. Nevermind that he's in a foreign place where 'Lord Inquisitor' might just as easily put a target on his back. If Corypheus is behind this, he won't run and hide.]

I was traveling with three others and a ram: Dorian of House Pavus, Lady Mai Bhalsych of Korse, The Iron Bull of the Bull's Chargers, and Lord Woolsley of Redcliffe. If any harm has come to them, I can assure you it will be repaid in kind.

[!!! He's not used to not being obeyed, though he gives out few orders. Usually the whole 'Lord Inquisitor' carries him far enough that he doesn't have to go through five hundred minute niceties.]

It wasn't meant to be polite, it was an order. [He hates how he sounds right now, but the safety of the others is paramount.]

Yes, but since I wasn't enchanted by my fairy godmother to be obedient? I'm not compelled to jump up and follow the orders of a complete stranger. You know what I mean, Lordy?

[He gives a wistful sigh; already liking Jove more] Honestly. Rulers these days.

I will not have you risk the safety of my companions. [Not great tactics, but Mahna isn't in charge of tactics back home. He really shouldn't be in charge of anything besides killing but apparently people wanted to follow him for some bizarre reason. ]

[wilder]

[He gives an audible yawn; wow this guy. But he throws him a bone.]

Your companions are fine.

[Mahna blinks.] They are? You know of their wellbeing? [He holds his breath.]

Well I've only heard of Dorian, but yeah- he's fine. The others are probably just back in your world.

[viran]

[Oh, well. He supposes he can drop his hackles, but there won't be an apology any time soon.] Ah. There's good news to be found after all.

[wilder]

Sure, whatever.

[There's a ding from the microwave] Well, that's my cue. I'm sure others will have much more interesting things to say to you. Have fun~
