[By the time he's sorted out that he's no longer in Thedas, Mahna's patience has all but run out. The silence had woken him and the continued lack of birds chattering or insects buzzing unsettles him far more than he expects. Instead, inane music plays under his strained voice.]

I am Lord Inquisitor Lavellan and it would serve you well to return my companions to me.

[He hates titles, hates formality, but if it gets his comrades back, he'll throw them around as much as necessary. Nevermind that he's in a foreign place where 'Lord Inquisitor' might just as easily put a target on his back. If Corypheus is behind this, he won't run and hide.]

I was traveling with three others and a ram: Dorian of House Pavus, Lady Mai Bhalsych of Korse, The Iron Bull of the Bull's Chargers, and Lord Woolsley of Redcliffe. If any harm has come to them, I can assure you it will be repaid in kind.

[While he's not thrilled at a mass kidnapping, Mahna's shoulders relax an inch or two at the mention of Dorian's wellbeing.]

And the others? [He tries to keep all the ice in his voice from melting immediately.]

[Lord Inquistor? He remembers Jove telling him about his title, and that's even her last name. And her bestie Dorian was mentioned! But he definitely doesn't remember he mentioning another Inquistor, and especially one with the name Lavellan]

I do wonder just how many Inquisitor Lavellans there are across differing realities. I'll have to look into that...as it stands, we do come from different worlds here, us from Thedas and from the rest of the worlds. Curious, endlessly curious.

[If there were ever a sight for sore eyes, it would certainly be Dorian. Mahna sort of glazes over that first bit, considering he knows jack all about alternate realities. Instead he skips to the important part.]

Dorian. [Mahna sighs in relief and there might even be a little bit of a smile quirking his lips.] Are you... alright?

[Hold on, she really has something useful to say here.

She really does. But she's laughing too hard, because she knows those names. Of course she knows those names and this newcomer earns a lot of points for using Sera's in particular in public.]

I'm afraid the only one of them you'll find here is Dorian.

[It's Sera's formal name, after all, and Mahna's honestly a big fan of it. Saying it with a straight face is one of his specialties.

But she seems to know them! That's a step in the right direction.] Is Dorian well?

[Maker's breath, how many Inquisitors--

He really doesn't know how to address these Inquisitors that aren't his, so he'll start off with the easy stuff.]

Bull and Sera are some of the few that aren't here.

[All of them, Cullen. All of them.]

[ Lolingly exasperated. ]

[Someone else familiar with Thedas. That's a bit of a comfort.] Do you hail from there yourself, stranger? [Oops, hunter habits die hard.]

He goes by Lord Woolsley. [Half a smirk because this is an important conversation.]

[ it'll be a little while later before jade approaches him, expression curious and fluffy white dog ears perked. she'd caught a lot of the conversation on the network, but even with him on board the marsiva alongside her, it seemed impolite to just, you know. intrude.

but it's been a while, and she's not sure that any of them are going anywhere for a while, so - ]

Hi. It's, um - Lord Inquisitor Lavellan, right?

[ ahaha what a mouthful. she manages to swallow her smile at the title, though, even if it seems a little silly to her. ]

[Oh right, yes, that title. Mahna looks up from where he's sitting and waves a hand to a seat near him.]

Mahna. [Pause because wait he didn't answer her question.] But also Lord Inquisitor Lavellan on Tuesdays. And you are?

A ram? Oh, man, best name ever! Is it a girl or a boy? I really hope it came, that'd be awesome, this place definitely needs more animals.

[Oh, wait--]

Dorian's here too! He's teaching me magic junk!

[These are the kinds of questions people should be asking!]

He's a boy, I suppose, what with being Lord Woolsley. [Mahna perks up further at the mention of Dorian.] He is? How splendid of him.

You know me, but I don't know you. I'd like to know you. I didn't know Jove either, but I'm glad I met her.

Varric didn't know me. It was hard, because I wanted to ask him things, but he didn't know me and didn't have the knowledge to answer anyway.

[Good news! Cole is still completely Cole, and apparently already moved on from not actually knowing this Lavellan.]

I don't like this thing, so I don't want to talk much using it, because I can't see you or hear you, but I'll come and visit when you're on a ship I can get on. I can't teleport far enough to get onto the Marsiva.

[Of course, as with most conversations with Cole, half of it goes over Mahna's head before he catches up. Nonetheless, he's smiling far more openly than he has with anyone else thus far.

First things first, though.] Are you alright, Cole? Are you safe?

[Mahna'll have to figure out how to get to him as soon as he can.]

He tilts his head, amused, watches for a moment, and then he speaks: ]

[ And, of course, he has to be careful. Who knows what this Inquisitor knows. ]

[This Inquisitor knows next to jack at the moment, but he's glad to see Solas nonetheless. Another elf, another friend, or so he hopes. If Solas doesn't know him, Mahna will be ready to throw in the towel on this whole 'I'm the Inquisitor' thing.]

Solas. [Mahna sighs in relief.] You're well?

[Again, he's got to check to make sure his crew is safe.]

[Have a very familiar disgusted noise thrown your way, Mahna. It's hard to tell if it's out of frustration that there's yet another Inquisitor to contend with that she doesn't know or if it's because he's using that name in public.]

Dorian is here, but neither Bull nor Sera are present... Inquisitor.

[This is at least delightfully familiar and Mahna can't help but his lack of remorse, though he does make an effort to swallow down his smile.]
