[By the time he's sorted out that he's no longer in Thedas, Mahna's patience has all but run out. The silence had woken him and the continued lack of birds chattering or insects buzzing unsettles him far more than he expects. Instead, inane music plays under his strained voice.]

I am Lord Inquisitor Lavellan and it would serve you well to return my companions to me.

[He hates titles, hates formality, but if it gets his comrades back, he'll throw them around as much as necessary. Nevermind that he's in a foreign place where 'Lord Inquisitor' might just as easily put a target on his back. If Corypheus is behind this, he won't run and hide.]

I was traveling with three others and a ram: Dorian of House Pavus, Lady Mai Bhalsych of Korse, The Iron Bull of the Bull's Chargers, and Lord Woolsley of Redcliffe. If any harm has come to them, I can assure you it will be repaid in kind.

You know me, but I don't know you. I'd like to know you. I didn't know Jove either, but I'm glad I met her.

Varric didn't know me. It was hard, because I wanted to ask him things, but he didn't know me and didn't have the knowledge to answer anyway.

[Good news! Cole is still completely Cole, and apparently already moved on from not actually knowing this Lavellan.]

I don't like this thing, so I don't want to talk much using it, because I can't see you or hear you, but I'll come and visit when you're on a ship I can get on. I can't teleport far enough to get onto the Marsiva.

[Of course, as with most conversations with Cole, half of it goes over Mahna's head before he catches up. Nonetheless, he's smiling far more openly than he has with anyone else thus far.

Yes. Solas is with me, and Jove, and I met other people that Varric knew in Kirkwall, but I'm not allowed near some of the ships, because I hurt Fenris, so I don't see Dorian really, but I met a person who's like a spirit! She's like me. Not the same, but similar.

We're going to dance. I bought her knives.

[He treated Jove like this as well. Being a spirit has some advantages for adapting to the situation.]

[Mahna takes a mental tally of those he's heard from, those he hasn't, who has at least assured him of their safety. That still leaves a few and he can't help the worry gathering in his gut.

The news that Cole hurt someone leaves Mahna more nervous for Cole than anything else.]
