[By the time he's sorted out that he's no longer in Thedas, Mahna's patience has all but run out. The silence had woken him and the continued lack of birds chattering or insects buzzing unsettles him far more than he expects. Instead, inane music plays under his strained voice.]

I am Lord Inquisitor Lavellan and it would serve you well to return my companions to me.

[He hates titles, hates formality, but if it gets his comrades back, he'll throw them around as much as necessary. Nevermind that he's in a foreign place where 'Lord Inquisitor' might just as easily put a target on his back. If Corypheus is behind this, he won't run and hide.]

I was traveling with three others and a ram: Dorian of House Pavus, Lady Mai Bhalsych of Korse, The Iron Bull of the Bull's Chargers, and Lord Woolsley of Redcliffe. If any harm has come to them, I can assure you it will be repaid in kind.

[Okay Felix is at least a recognizable face to Mahna.] Felix? [It's a bit like seeing a ghost and he stares for a moment before clearing his throat. Staring is rude, he's been told.] I suppose it does.

You know me then? Which means... you went to Redcliffe as Inqui--Jove did and met with my father? [He corrects himself from calling Jove by her title in part because Jove asked him too, and in part because he's trying to make this less confusing for Mahna.]

I apologize if seeing a man return from the dead makes things even more confusing for you.

[Despite everything, he means it, but there's a lot a bit of a tease to his voice, like he's hoping making a joke at the expense of his own death might put the stranger a bit more at ease.]

[It's all still so confusing, Felix included, that the joke does little to soothe his raw and exposed nerves. Those he knows from home claim to have never met him, people he was starting to open up to, if slowly. And now he's back to square one. Or so he feels.

Mahna isn't sure whether to keep talking or not, dead man or no, but Felix deserves better than silence.] I did.

[Okay, so it's not much more than silence, but it's better than nothing?]

Is my father well? Or....

[Jove had spared him. He wondered if this Inquisitor had done the same.]

Yes, quite well. [Mahna perks up at the chance to relay good news.] He serves the Inquisition as a researcher.

[Felix seems relieved at that and sighs just a bit.]

Thank you for that, Inquisitor. You were within your rights not to spare him.

He is a good man, though you did not meet him at his best. I'm sure he'll serve you well.

He has done splendidly. [Mahna's glad to hear that bit of pride in Felix's voice. Such a far cry from the last time they spoke.]

It's Mahna. There's no need for formalities. [Despite that whole 'I'm Lord Inquisitor' show from before.]

[Felix gives him a small smile.]

I'm afraid I'm not as useful as my father, but if you have any questions about this place I can try to answer them? I'm new myself, but I've learned a lot since I arrived.

[Mahna's grateful for the offer, but he won't say as much yet, not while he's still so unsure about everything.]

Don't worry yourself on my behalf. [After all, Felix is pretty dead back in Mahna's Thedas. The fewer problems Mahna gives him, the better.]

I don't mind. It's nice to worry.

It's nice to be alive enough to worry.

But you are still ill, are you not? [Manners are not Mahna's forte.] I would not want to cause you further harm.

I am, but I can manage it.

[He's gonna just oh so casually push the conversation topic to that.] Do you need any assistance gathering supplies for remedies?

I've gathered most of what I need, but when it comes time I'll need more. I'll put together a list and you can keep an eye out for them, if you'd like?

Ah, yes. [Distractions are going to be so so necessary in the coming days.] A list would suit me fine.

No. I should... [He needs time to absorb all of this, first and foremost.] I'll be alright.
