[By the time he's sorted out that he's no longer in Thedas, Mahna's patience has all but run out. The silence had woken him and the continued lack of birds chattering or insects buzzing unsettles him far more than he expects. Instead, inane music plays under his strained voice.]

I am Lord Inquisitor Lavellan and it would serve you well to return my companions to me.

[He hates titles, hates formality, but if it gets his comrades back, he'll throw them around as much as necessary. Nevermind that he's in a foreign place where 'Lord Inquisitor' might just as easily put a target on his back. If Corypheus is behind this, he won't run and hide.]

I was traveling with three others and a ram: Dorian of House Pavus, Lady Mai Bhalsych of Korse, The Iron Bull of the Bull's Chargers, and Lord Woolsley of Redcliffe. If any harm has come to them, I can assure you it will be repaid in kind.

An attack? [Mahna's lacking some sharp stuff to protect his friends with, which he doesn't like one bit.]

Hmm. Other ships. They have since vanished. I wouldn't be surprised to see them again, however.

Were we prepared? [This is the most important question, in Mahna's mind. Haven still plays behind his eyelids at night.]

Not even slightly. Most of the ships sustained a lot of damage. Almost no one here has experience of battling in space.

[Ouch. Mahna winces.] But the people, were they alright?

There were a few minor injuries, but nothing lasting.

That's good. People are far less replaceable than metal.

Hmm, only too true.

I am not sure if we will be attacked again. It has been quiet, thus far.

[Yeah, Mahna totally agrees that quiet does not always indicate peace or safety.] Quiet usually means something bigger is coming.

That is what I've gathered from my time in such places, yes.

[Mahna nods, brow knitted, before he realizes something.] I don't believe I've asked for your name yet. My manners elude me. I am Mahna.

I'm Fenris.

[Fenris. Mahna can't help how his jaw tightens, though he tries not to think of charming Fenris.]

Nice to meet you. Have you been here long? [Read: long enough to form opinions but not long enough to truly charm a certain mage, right? Riiiiight? ]

Five months. [He can't imagine spending that much time in these metal containers floating through space.] Have others been kind to you?
