I think so.

[Slow breathing. As they get further out, Allen's skin starts to go back to normal. He can feel the Noah's presence diminishing, as if it was retreating into whatever state it normally was. There's still some odd pull to get to the planet, but it's nowhere near as overwhelming as it was before.]

[Sokka watches him intently, only relaxing once Allen seems out of the woods, heaving out a sigh. ]

I'd say it's a big warning sign not to let you go anywhere near that planet again.

You want to risk landing on the waystation or do you want to keep going and find somewhere more remote?

Okay. Maybe I can...I don't know, find a way to get a better autopilot in the shuttles. So you can just jump in, hit a button and be sent out of the way.

Yes, but wouldn't that potentially be giving a functioning vehicle to someone very dangerous?

I mean, assuming I'm not able to keep control.

Maybe make it a one way trip? You can head away, but once you get to an assigned distance, engines cut out? Then, once you know you're in the clear, you can radio for help and we can come collect. We can always upgrade our shuttle for that.

That's....That could work. [He blinks in surprise. Man his captain is always so smart]

Do you think you could wire a shuttle to do that for sure?

I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't know until I try. If not, back to the drawing board, but it's worth a try all the same.

[Except he knew this crew was going above and beyond what the creed usually means for folks. It was humbling, touching...but also not fair. He had to do better to keep this in check. Anything, to look after them.]
