[he stops hanging from his branch, mostly so that he can sit... since it seems like neither of them will be going anywhere soon. his long legs dangle uselessly below him. his feet have claws just like his hands to.

he would never act like this, normally. but the forest is making him amiable and... natural, full, vivid. connected. all creatures, even this one, are bound to him here.]

They all lived under the ground, in old tunnels, hiding from the world up above... [he gestures to show the difference in depth.] Lots of them. But they were all... Ah, not very social. I never got to see their true forms, either, on account of the small space...

[he looks down at the dragon face below him, a little smile crossing over his thin face. he sounds more like a girl, now.]

So, I suppose I am honored. I think you look magnificent.

[ Living hidden from the world he understands, but the tunnels are different. He's fairly certain he's heard something similar to this before, likely from Tek. He's not entirely sure, though, and even if he was, there's no way he can ask without using his voice.

The "magnificent" remark gets him bashful, though, and he makes an embarrassed little noise and settles down to stretch out on the ground. He covers his snout with his tail. He's just as easily flustered about compliments to this form as he is to the ones to his human one-- moreso, even. The latter was crafted that way for a reason. This is just who he is. ]

[he laughs, all nine of his voices. they sound a little bit like the jingling of bells. his small smile is wider, now, though it looks like an expression he isn't entirely used to.]

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you.

[ He makes a dejected 'mmph' noise, as if to say it isn't the other creature's fault that he can't take a compliment. He doesn't remove his tail from over his snout, though. ]

[the creature at least seems to be in a much better mood, by this. really, he's not so creepy when he's not slinking around in the trees like he was...]

I don't really show this form to anyone. I don't know how I must look to a dragon, but most humans find me horrifying.

[ He chuffs in disgust at that. Humans find everything horrifying if it isn't small and furry. And even then... Granted the spider-like limbs make him a little nervous, but he's getting used to watching this creature and how it moves about in a graceful manner, accustomed to its form. And he's not horrified at all.

He's met one too many terrible people (and succubi) to be horrified based on looks alone. ]

[despite Ladon not really saying anything, he seems to get it. and he can believe it, too. he's not just a human saying, "oh, no, you're not that bad..." out of personal guilt or pity. this guy gets it. and Robin's appreciative.]
