Though unlike last time, there's his golden golem in the background- seeming to be gesturing with his wings like he's trying to sign what Allen's saying- too bad sign language doesn't make much sense when the speaker just has wings. Allen meanwhile, seems completely oblivious to Tim's "help"]

Hello all. This is Allen Walker, one of the medics aboard the SS Blue Fish.

I just wanted to let you know that this Sunday on the SS Blue Fish, we'll be holding another blood drive for blood transfusions. For those who are unfamiliar with blood transfusions, it's a medical practise that can make sure that people don't die of blood loss by giving them spare blood.

Anyone who donates will be given cookies and drink. Donors can also get paid in their choice of money, food, or prize vouchers for those who aren't having any luck in the casino. If you are interested and haven't donated before, please fill out this form here! [And here comes a handy form]

If anyone would like to volunteer or have any questions, please let me know! Any vampiric volunteers must be able to show restraint around fresh blood and will not be allowed to sample any donations.

This is a really good idea. We can't always depend on magic to heal wounds.

[She pauses, unsure, and bites her lip.]

I'm... not sure I should donate blood because of the world I'm from. But if you need help organizing everything, I can give you a hand?

Mm, exactly. Magic can only do so much, and there's always those who can't or won't take magical healing.

We'd always welcome more volunteers. Though is there something unusual about your world?

I'm afraid it'll just stop working. Who knows with these things in our heads.

[She pauses.] There's mana in my bloodstream because I'm from a world where everything needs mana to live.

[Her eyes shift to the side.]

And... I can use that mana, which also means I have some elven ancestry. Sharing my blood might give people magic when they didn't have it before, or it might not. I don't really know. Supposedly that's how humans are allowed to use magic these days.

That's always a possibility too. It happened a lot in the last place I was in.

[To him it's a bit weird it hasn't yet in this place. Eh, maybe when monsters start attacking. And geez...even after hearing about "mana" for years, it's still so odd to hear that word be used when talking about magic.]

Hm...interesting. I'm not expert on mana, but I can't say I've heard of elven blood giving humans magic before.

If you're concerned, I could always take a sample and run some tests to see if it really does differentiate from other worlds' blood.

Weird stuff happened in Exsilium, too. It's better to be on the safe side.

[She nods.] I'm okay with being tested. I have no idea if it's true, but Tethe'alla had some pretty advanced technology.

Is there anything else I should know about if I qualify? How much blood do you take, anyway?

Allen, I do not believe we've spoken before- I'm Dr. Tam of the Bloodsport. This is a fantastic idea, and I would like to volunteer my services to take blood from donors.

Exsilium... [He's heard of that place before, at least, Flora mentioned it once]

Alright. How advanced was the technology? [Since man that's pretty objective] And we'll take about a pint- mostly we need to make sure you're over sixteen and weigh enough that taking a pint of blood won't do harm. And of course, that you're in good health.

Ah- Dr. Tam! It's nice to finally meet you! [Don't mind him, just stalking the crew rosters for medics]

I would be more than happy to have another doctor helping out. Have you done this sort of work before?

Yeah, some place called Earth. It was a total mess.

[In more ways than one.]

Uh... well, okay, it wasn't quite like the Fleet, but things like electric stoves and moving bridges and fancy elevators, that's all stuff I've seen before.

... How much do I have to weigh?

[Uh oh.]

Likewise. And I have, though not on a large scale- it was mostly taking blood samples from patients so they could receive transfusions. I was a trauma surgeon back home.

Really? I've...never heard of a place called Exsilium on Earth before. Where is it?

[NO ALLEN DON'T ASK THAT]

I see. That's certainly more advanced than a lot of worlds here, so that's something. [And comforting!!]

Ah- Fifty kilograms is the minimum.

Really? That's great to hear! [Wait.] Ah- not that I think it's good there needs to be trauma surgeons, but-

[Foot in mouth]

I mean, I'm sure you won't have trouble with this then!

[Omg, Allen no. AND SHEENA HAS NO IDEA even though his accent is kinda similar to the natives.]

It was a big island. I saw maps... I think it used to be called Britain? All I remember is being cold and miserable constantly. And then it got colder. And more miserable.

[Her face pales somewhat.]

Oh. Er, why don't I just get weighed when I come in? [Maybe she gained muscle weight or something.]

Oh, I understand, believe me- it's not good that there is a necessity for my kind of work, but since one exists, I'm glad to be here.

...A-Ah. I see.

[Well. Shit. That ain't good. What do you even say to that???]

[... Best not to tell him it got nuked then. She's sensitive though, and picks up on his discomfort.]

Don't worry too much. There's a million different Earths out there, and the Initiative messed with time travel so much that there's probably a million more. I really doubt it's your world specifically.

[Man, she's not sure she weighs enough. She pokes her stomach off-screen as if that might tell her.]

Ah...you're probably right. It's very unlikely they're the same. [Or if it is, it's very far in the future] Still, it's Earth.

[Which hey, that's home. No matter how many years it's been.]

Your name's Allen, right? ... Would it be weird if I told you that I met you before? We weren't close or anything, and I don't expect anyone to remember.

[She thinks about the people she met there. The natives, both involved and not. Her tone turns solemn.]

Multiple people were messing with time travel. The Initiative was supposedly on our side, and the reason why we were there. They were a group that opposed the United Earth, who were heading to other worlds to destroy them and take their resources. The Initiative focused on sending us back in time so we could prevent the U.E. from gaining power.

It didn't always work like it was supposed to.

[He blinks a little, surprised] We've met...before...?

[That's a new one, but not entirely so after a couple encounters here. But he listens to the explanation about what they were doing, his frown shows a bit of disapproval- not at Sheena, but at the situation. He doesn't have any real experience with true time travel, but...that sounds too much like meddling in powers that no human should meddle with.]

...They must have been desperate to resort to such measures. [Or reckless beyond compare]

And... anyone can donate? You don't have to do anything else?

[She thinks her blood must be normal, after all. Maybe??]

Well you have to be at least sixteen, weigh at least 50 kilograms and be in good health- but yes. If you meet those conditions, anyone can donate.
