[ The comm is set down on a table, facing down to give a wide angle of a young redheaded woman who is basically standing inside of a couch. Phasing! She looks to the camera, brows raised very pointedly!! And then walks forward to one of the walls leading further into the Marsiva and pushes.

Nada.

She looks back to the camera. Walks back to the couch, does a slow turn around while standing inside of it, then goes back and pushes on the wall again. After a moment, she steps back, uses both hands to point at the stubborn wall. ]

Is anyone else seeing this shit?

Scratch that. Anyway, audiences range from far and wide and it's probably for the better not to try and predict them.

I've considered that as well, that the augments have some kind of recording capacity. But I'm uncertain how to test the idea.

Find the frequency would be the simplest, but that's probably going to need a lot more tech than is readily available, huh.

As far as I can tell, they're not broadcasting on any known frequency. It could be an unknown one to me. The technology here is extremely advanced.

Yeah, that's definitely the problem. I'd happily volunteer myself for getting this damn thing out if anyone wants to study it, though.

Well, no, it's presumably tied in to my brain stem and all other kinds of fun functions. On the other hand... fuck this, I don't want it.

...maybe your ship will have a medical professional. But I really don't think you should look into removing it.

Really? Really, we've got something attached to who knows what in our heads and you think it should stay?

No, but mine is so thoroughly integrated that it's beyond my capabilities to remove. Also, they provide us with necessary information about our environment. How to operate the ships, specifically. Not only would removal be risking permanent damage to your nervous system, but could lead to disaster in other ways.

So you've automatically discounted the idea that there could be sleeper programs in here waiting to do who knows what while hiding out as a useful little space-cyclopedia?

[ With his capabilities that could be disastrous. And it didn't occur to him, because he scanned himself so thoroughly. But that's the point of a sleeper program isn't it, that it's hidden? Holy crap Misha you just scared the circuits out of him. ]

Yep. Thus why I'd much rather see if it's possible to get these things out sooner rather than later.
