[The face that appears on screen belongs to a very attractive young man. He grins, as if he hasn't a care in the world, and something about that smile is irredeemably charming.

When he speaks, he has a gentle English accent.]

This is a reality programme then? Do we have a theme song, do you think? Do we get nicknames based on our personalities?

Is one of us the bitchy one? Or the cute one? Or the bad boy?

[He shifts a bit. The smile takes on a more mischievous edge and it seems to bring out dimples in his cheeks. His movement also allows the viewer to see his augment, which is very visible and takes up all of the space behind his ear. Whatever is in his head, they needed a lot of hardware to control it.]

If so, I want to the cute-but-lazy-one-with-dimples. Is that one already taken?

[He looks around, taking in what's around him, and for a moment, something a little dangerous seems to appear in him, though it's just the tail hint of it resting on the edge of his face and tone.]

I have to say, if you're expecting me to be impressed by the fact that reality can be altered so much that I'm here and not home, whoever is behind this has a lot of catching up to do.

[And then whatever that dangerous edge was, it's gone.]

You'll have to contest with my dog, who seems to be quite fond of making my shoes disappear.

Though now I have worry about him, thank you very much. Dog's rubbish without me around to take care of him.

[Now he's rambling, but at least he seems comfortable while doing it.]

It has been some time since I was home. What with the magical castle and now space and everything.

[His hand moves to the hair line where the augment is. It looks like he's just combing his hand through his hair, but honestly the fact that Crowley is saying something and Adam can't make sense of it makes him realize how much the thing they put in his head affects him.]

Anyway, it was a place a bit like this, but it was a magical castle. I was there for...uh. Six? Seven?? Years. A while, anyway, and then I was brought here. I haven't seen Earth in a long time.

[Adam's eyes narrow a bit. There's a weird sense of possessiveness over that idea that springs up in his throat as he considers what it would be like to lose any of them for that long. He swallows around it.]

There has to be some kind of time travel that happens then.

[A sigh.]

Either that, or the confirmation of the multi-verse means that somewhere, out there, there's a 17 or 18 year old me who hasn't seen you for several years.

That's a little disconcerting.

So what've you been up to, while growing up?

I went to uni and then opened my own business. We're in community development. I'm doing pretty well for myself but not too well.
