001 Assemble! (video)
Who: Wanda Maximoff
Broadcast: Fleet-wide video
Action: Marsiva
When: Friday, May 22nd
[When the video feed clicks on, the only thing visible at first appears to be the ceiling on the inside of the Marsiva. After a few seconds of dead air, Wanda suddenly jumps into frame as she bolts upright in her sleeping cot. Her face contorted in panic, and a loud scream erupts from within her as she wakes from her nightmare. Her hand is outstretched, reaching for something not there. A loud bang accompanies her abrupt awakening, as off-screen a few of the cots opposite Wanda are thrown violently against the wall of the ship.]
[Her heart is racing, and her breath comes and goes quickly. She closes her eyes, lowers her arm, takes a few deep breaths and tries to calm herself. As she opens her eyes a second time, the expression of panic fades from her face, and she surveys her new, unfamiliar surroundings. She is now fully awake, confused, angry, and also a little bit afraid.]
Where am I? [Her voice shakes a little with her first question, but the following question comes out much more stern.] What is this place?
[She notices the communicator lying next to her on the cot. She picks it up and centers herself on the screen. Her face displays an expression of grim determination.]
Whoever is watching this... tell me where I am!

H-Hello! You're not in danger, although... I'm sorry, no one here will be able to tell you everything about this place.
no subject
I don't understand. What is going on? Who are you?
no subject
This is a group of spaceships, it's called the Drift Fleet. We all travel together, and we've been told that we're on, um... [it takes her a second to recall the word] TV show.
no subject
A TV show? We are being filmed right now?
[She looks around for any obviously placed cameras, of which she may have failed to take note.]

Or is it someone who just arrived? Clay takes in a breath to calm his own racing heart before he talks; still someone in trouble, for sure, but not of the dangerous variety like he thought.]
Hey, um... Welcome to space?
no subject
[Wanda cuts herself off, as she actually looks out the nearest window for the first time. She hadn't noticed it when she had woken up. But sure enough, the inky blackness spotted with specks of light could only mean one thing... she was in space. Somehow.]
I don't understand this. How could I be here? The last thing I remember I was...
[She drifts off into her own thoughts. She felt as if her brain was being scrambled from having just woken up from her nightmare to having to now process all this new information around her. A pained expression paints itself across her face.]
Sokovia... the city... it was falling...
no subject
[How does a city fall? Unless it was a sinkhole or - wait, no, not important right now. Clay lowers his voice a bit, trying to be more calming about all this.]
Hey, hey... take in a deep breath, okay? [Clay himself takes in a deep, slow breath, holds it, then lets it out just as slowly.] Like that. It's fine, you're fine.

action;
[ There's a redhead sitting off to the side out of the general bunks area but it's hard to miss that whole show going on right there. Despite all that, she's pretty calm and has one arm slung over the seat to observe. ]
First mind reading target/victim!
You are not the one who brought me here. [She doesn't phrase it as a question. It's a statement.]
You only just appeared here yourself a few days ago. [Again, not a question.]
We are prisoners? [This time, it's definitely more of a question.]
Whoo-hoo!
More or less. Prisoners-slash-entertainers. What exactly are you doing?

action?
He gets it. If he wasn't so concerned about losing control, he probably would have thrown around some things too.
He pauses when he sees her, trying to filter through the information the sight of her fills his head with. The word Miracle comes to mind and he thinks that that's a little dramatic, isn't it? Back home, he had always considered miracles to be a glitzy sales pitch for getting into a bad contract. He supposes that having super powers would make you seem like a miracle though...
Also, it explains how she got the cots that high.
When he approaches her his hands are carefully in sight, and he moves slowly, not wanting to make her think he's aggressive in any way.]
You're in space. On a ship called the Marsiva.
no subject
You are the one that brought me here?
[It's clearly a question, but the way Wanda spits it out... it's almost a threat. A challenge. Answer yes, and you may suddenly find some furniture being flung in your direction, or worse...]

Get strapped in, Maximoff. You're gonna be on this ride for a while.
[as long as he doesn't give himself away, he can mess with her. right?]

[well, there's a calm, pale-looking guy on the other end of the video feed... he gives her a little wave.]
You're probably not in any danger, up there.
no subject
If I am not in any danger, then prove it. Who are you?
no subject
Robin Redbreast, at your service. The only danger on that ship is the other people who are brought there, like you.

You're on the SS Marsiva. It's a space ship. You've been brought there by Atroma, like we all have.

[However, before she can finish her thought, Wanda somehow already knows what these words mean. This both shocks and even disturbs her a little.]
I know these names. How do I already know these names?
