Does anyone have any apples or honey or anything close to either from the last stop? I was...just thinking about it today. [Softer.] Not that I even know how to tell when sundown is in space.

[But she knows it's close to Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, but nailing down a date would take calculating she can't do based on a moon that's not even here. She's not really a religious person and has some definite issues with god especially after everything she's been through back home, but the traditions remind her of better times when she was young with her family. She didn't think about it much in the last place because they didn't run off of a calendar she was familiar with, but here it brings back memories.]

Anyway, I'd trade for some if you do. We'll work something out.

I have an apple tree on the Tourist, if you ever wish to pick fruit from it. You're here often enough, you may as well be honorary crew, after all.

I missed an entire tree? [Real life problems when your boyfriend is a good kisser and it's distracting?]

If it makes you feel any better, it is only a small one- created to be so. We had a crewmember who was a plantlike being. He made me it.

Oh, sure. I never consider the possible plantlike crewmates. [Mutants shouldn't joke, Kitty.] I guess he's not around anymore?

No, he has been gone for a while. I admit...I did not give him the credit nor the compassion he deserved. A lesson learned, I suppose.

Mm, [She knows a little something about regrets] well, there are always new people coming along where you can prove you learned it well. [Not that it really erases what's been done.]

[He doubts it. He's really good at being an intolerant asshole.]

Thanks for the tip on the tree. I should really explore the Tourist more completely one of these days. Who knows what else I'm missing out on. There could be a rainbow in one of the supply closets. [It sounds nearly as ridiculous as an apple tree to her.]

I would deny it, but yeah, that tracks. [Especially back when Winn was really struggling after being attacked. She barely left at all then. Now she's back to spending her days on the Windrose, Iskaulit, visiting people or checking out worlds and stations if they're around.]

Hope I haven't overstayed the welcome. [Not that it will keep her away as long as Winn still wants her, but she also doesn't want to make a nuisance of herself.]
