[voice/action] comas are fun?????
Who: Doudanuki & All Y'all
Broadcast: Yes
Action: On the Caprine
When: August 14th, aka right now
Action: Caprine
[Anyone on the Caprine can probably hear when Doudanuki wakes up because he does so by yelling loudly as he jumps out of bed. He can't remember the last time he was awake and that concerns him - a lot.
So fellow Capriners will probably hear him as he thunders around checking on people or trying to figure out why the hell he was unconscious for an entire month. How he greets them depends on whether he knows them yet or not:
For new characters to the Caprine since June]
...And who're you supposed to be?
[For characters he knows already]
Hey. What the hell happened to everyone?
Voice: Network
[Later, after he realizes that comas are just things that happen because why not? This place is insane enough already.
And then he's at the comms station and notices something weird.]
What happened to that other ship? What the hell did you guys do while I was asleep??

As for the ship, it was...eaten, I believe. By the Marsiva.
[Yeah, he doesn't understand it, either. It's a thing. A thing that happened. ]
Network
S'what Fie said, too. No crew was seen though. You hear about what happened to them?
Network
[So they get to go, you know, outside again. Outside is nice.]
From what I understand, they had all transferred onto other sips. It was empty when it...got eaten. Which is quite a sight to see.
[Wow, he hopes it doesn't eat the rest of them. That would suuuuuck. ]
Network
[But not 100% certain he wants to go down there yet. Although he's relieved to hear the crew didn't just up and vanish. Transferring to a diferent ship isn't so bad at all.]
Fie said it got crunched in half by the docking bay doors. Did someone make the Marsiva mad?
Network
[...Fie why are you like this? He kind of stares off into the middle distance for a moment, before turning his attention back to the screen.]
Perhaps she spoke out of turn, it was a confusing time. [Just gonna...diplomatically dance around the fact she's being a shit. He's good at this, Adam has given him great practise. ] But it simply opened up and swallowed the Paisley whole. I imagine it was done because the ship was empty? No one would wish to watch an empty ship, after all.
Network
[Because unless there are things to fight, he'll be at a loss for things to do, Lumiere.]
But what d'you mean "out of turn?" If it didn't crunch it, then she lied. [FIE, RUSTS TO YOU, FIE. HE SEES YOUR LIES.] At least it wasn't 'cause the ship got angry though. After seein' the huge ass gun it has inside it and now hearing it can just swallow ships whole, I dunno if I want to piss it off.
Network
[Please don't overdo it, buddy, you've just been in a coma. Come on. ]
It happened every quickly, she was probably mistaken. [This is what he has chosen to do with his life. Defend people when they're being assholes. Great life choices, there. ]
Me either. Atroma did not say anything after it had...happened, though. I was honestly expecting a little gloating. It was disappointing.
[Not even an evil cackle. ]
Re: Network
[Please. He'd fight in a coma if he could.]
But whatever. I'll just take what she says with a coat of dust. Atroma doesn't seem all that interested in talkin' to us now that they killed the other hosts.
[He remembers that display. It was...disturbing.]
Not even really sure if they're the ones in charge or it was just some sorta ploy.
Network
[It's wise to do that, buddy. Fie is a little shit. ]
I think they are simply the faces of Atroma. A public appearance, while the truth is something more less pleasant.
Network
[Not that he knows what a "bar fight" is, but it has "fight" in the word so it has to be good, right?]
So a ploy then. Gods, why is this place so complicated? I miss havin' a Saniwa to tell me where to go and who to kick the shit out of.
[And a larger purpose, people to protect, allies at his back, and the camaraderie of over 50 other swords.]
Network
[Swords gotta fite, he gets it.]
I am not one for following orders all that well, but I do miss having the Master to take care of. That was a much simpler task, and in the good old days, it was most enjoyable. It has been too long since I have thrown a ball.
[That's HIS battleground, and oh how he misses it. ]
Network
[He means that in all sincerity. That's so nice of Lumiere to say.]
But why don't you throw one here? There's a bunch of people and they'd probably love to get fancy for a ball. A bunch of 'em went back on that one planet.
[To the party he couldn't get into because he refused to leave his weapon behind. Dammit.]
Network
That is not a bad idea, mon ami! Perhaps we could hold it in one of the empty rooms aboard the Iskaulit! Lots of space there! One that looks out on a window, to a blanket of stars! Oui, it would be very romantic!
Network
[Not that...he knows about "romantic" or anything but--]
No reason why you can't just do what you do here. I find a way to get into fights whenever I can after all.
Network
[Something that hopefully Atroma can't take away from them, but you never know.]
It is a little more difficult without the requisite limbs, but I think I can make a good enough try of it.

[NO ONE CAN KNOW HE HELPED MAKE A PARTY.]
Network
Luckily for him, Lumière is absolutely not a modest, humble man. At all.]
That, mon ami I can do. No fear, no one will ever know you had any involvement.
Re: Network
Good. War swords shouldn't be known for "parties."
Network
Of course not, I would not want to damage your warrior credentials.
Network
Hn, thanks. Not that I get much use here. Might as well be rustin'.

Network
It'll be fine. It's not an unfamiliar feeling, so I can deal with it. You just focus on that party of yours.
