[Welcome new crew and visitors to the SS Blue Fish! There's been some additions to the crew, some grievous losses and some activity as they prepare these finale days to leave the planet of Mor. Don't mind the two cats and large amounts of meat being stored. Since Blue Fish lacks a pilot, the ship can still be found docked in Mor's volcano until they leave the planet for anyone who wants to drop by for a visit!]

[Allen is sitting at the table when Kairi comes wandering in, going through some lists. He looks up when he hears someone enter. He doesn't recognize her, which points to the new crewmate that got assigned]

Ah- hello!

Are you Kairi? I- read that you were added to our ship.

[Kairi had noticed the other man when she had walked in, but seeing as he looked like he was reading, hadn't wanted to bother him. However, she wasn't quiet enough not to attract attention, it seemed.

She smiled and nodded at him.]

Yes, I am. I just came to check out the kitchen, I didn't mean to bug you.

[he shakes his head]

It's fine, don't worry! I was just checking the supply list.

I'm Allen. I'm the first mate and one of the medics. It's nice to meet you.

[Allen. Medic. She's trying to learn the names as best as she can, and their jobs. Luckily Allen is pretty distinct, in terms of appearance. His hair was the same color as Riku's, and that tattoo over his eye...]

Nice to meet you, too! I think I'm a cook? I'm pretty sure, anyway. I'm still trying to get the hang of cooking with the... food they have here.

[yeah the scar usually tends to be a dead giveaway.]

Ha- I'm not sure it really counts as food, but we try to keep the kitchen stocked with real ingredients as much as we can. Do you have much experience cooking?

[It looks pretty nifty, at least?]

Really? You have actual food here?

[Excuse her while she hurries over to the cabinets to see for herself, though she doesn't ignore his question.]

Oh, I do. I cook a lot back home! The boys - my two best friends, they were always hungry, and I liked cooking, so I used to do it a lot for them.

Mm! At least some stuff!

[And true to his word, the cabinet is stock of all sorts of food they picked up from the moons and Mor. There's a disproportionate amount of meat stuff thanks to Sokka. But - there's plenty of vegetables and other things too!]

Oh, that's really nice of you! What are they like?

[She never thought she'd be so happy to see actual food. So much that she can't help but sigh in relief, smiling as she carefully picks through what they have, just to see what all they have.]

They're... both very kind, in their own ways. One of them is pretty enthusiastic, and the other one is quiet. It's funny, they're pretty different in some ways, but they're still best friends. They're both caring, selfless, giving... almost a little too much. They've both been fighting so hard back home, and I know they won't give up.

[Whoops, almost started rambling too much there.]

Actually, they're both already here. Not on this ship, but in the fleet. Sora and Riku. Have you met them?

[He smiles a bit at those descriptions. They do sound like good guys]

They sound like wonderful people to be friends with.

[But hrm! Those names. He thinks a moment]

...Ah! Yes! I don't know him well, but I met Riku once. He insisted on helping me in a spot of trouble I had gotten myself into. Barely even knew me.

They really are. They're the best kind of friends you could ask for.

[Allen's account fit Riku to a tee, all right. It brings a smile to her face.]

That sounds just like Riku. He'd go out of his way to help anyone, even if he wouldn't admit it. [A pause.] Well, he almost definitely wouldn't admit it. He's stubborn like that.

[If the words weren't enough, it's clear by her tone she thinks the worlds of her friends.]

Ah, one of those types then.

[He smiles and shakes his head.]

Even if I don't want anyone to be grabbed by Atroma, I'm glad they're here with you. It's easier when you have friends here too.

Definitely.

I am really lucky, aren't I? Even though we're not on the same ship, I can still contact them if I need to. There's another person I know from my world in the fleet, too, though we're not as close. [Not even close.] Do you have anyone from your home here?

Mm, and we make regular stops at waystations and planets. And there's always the shuttles too- if you want to see them in person!

[What come on Kairi Axel just kidnapped you to get your bff killed ONCE gosh]

Not from home, exactly...but there was another place I stayed for awhile between my homeworld and this place, and there's a couple people from there that are here.

So I can use the shuttles for that? I had seen them, but I wasn't sure if they were for a special purpose. That's great!

[Now she can get to bug Riku in person. Hurray!

HERS AND AXEL'S RELATIONSHIP IS COMPLICATED OKAY.]

You lived on another world? [What was it liiiiike she wants to know.]

Mm! They are! Just don't fly too far in them- they aren't meant for long range. But I think flying to another ship or a waystation should be fine.

[ITS TRUE. AXEL TENDS TO MAKE EVERYTHING SUPER COMPLICATED.]

Ah- yes! I'm from Earth, but I lived in Paradisa for a number of years. And...now I'm here!

I guess I get around?

Oh, I definitely won't. I've never flown anything before, so I don't think I'd be confident enough to travel too far.

[HE DOES he's do dumb sometimes.]

Earth? That's a name I've heard a couple times now. Are a lot of people in this fleet from there? And Paradisa sounds like a nice place.
