ACTION Starstruck for anyone that might look in the cargo bay.
WHEN April 12th.

[ Ino, what'choo doin'? She looks... strained. Stressed, but trying to hold it together. She's sitting in front of the camera, taking a deep breath as if to prepare herself for what she is about to say. ]

Hey, guys. This is really sudden, but I need to ask a favor of anyone who'd listen. It's important! I've got this friend... he's got a huge problem. Back where he's from, some people can hold a lot of powers in them, not magic or anything like that, and they need to take even more in sometimes or they go crazy. Or die.

Does anyone have any powers they could... lend him? He'll give them back, he promises, it's just—[ She reaches up, clutches at her chest like it's hurting her to think about it. Judging by the slight sheen of sweat on her face, maybe it is. ]—he needs help really badly. I'm worried about him, and there's not much I can do...

[ Her head dips, long bangs covering her face before she sucks in a breath, part for the show and part out of real difficulty in keeping herself together right now, before her hand snaps out and she turns off the feed to collect herself. ]

What about you? Are you sure you're alright?

[ This is just confirming to her that doing this was better than doing it with her own self-claimed face. People seem to at least be reacting well, which is helpful when she's on such a hair-string trigger... ]

[ HE'S WORRIED... he'll bring her some water or something maybe, he thinks. :( ]

[ it's clear that he doesn't super... love... that answer, but he doesn't want to step over any boundaries. ]

[ he'd. really like to see her, mostly. ]

[ She has no idea what this relationship is really about, but considering the reactions she's getting elsewhere she probably doesn't want to just set off alarms in every single direction at once. She looks down, has to legitimately cover her face for a moment to get control back because someone else's concern for her — the face she's borrowed — is enough to get a reaction. ]

God. Okay. I'll meet you... outside the Starstruck.

The Starstruck? I've never been - is that where he is?

[ ugh. wait, no. ]

Stupid question. I'm on my way.

[ HANGING UP... ]

[ In the time that Tadashi hangs up, she has to throw the communicator away, literally toss it right into the wall, and curls up in the corner behind whatever cargo this stupid little crew's put into their hold. She's shaking and hurt and holding it together as best she can for a couple of minutes, as long as she can possibly hold out, until she forces herself to stand and teleport to the entrance of the Starstruck. Mostly so the rest of the crew doesn't see her but it looks like she's still coming from there.

She waits, face to the ground and eyes screwed shut while trying to figure out how to wiggle out from this. ]

[ and when tadashi arrives - and finds "ino" - the first thing that he's doing is approaching in concern, and reaching out in an attempt to gently take her hand with his. ]

Hey. How's he doing?

[ANNND HE'S COMING INTO VIEW, sine yeah. He totally booked it because this is like how people die in horror flicks]

Tadashi!

[ It's a pretty tender moment and she gets the picture pretty quickly. She knows what to do with this kind of closeness, so she forces a small smile and leans in for a greeting kiss when—she pulls back suddenly and there's anger there directed straight at Allen. ]

Who the hell invited you?!

What-

[ tadashi's head jerks toward allen. he's surprised, and maybe a little weirdly uncomfortable for him to see him with ino, but then - ]

Ino? Hey, what's going on? Are you guys fighting?

[ - he knows that the two of them are especially close, so the anger in her voice catches him completely off guard. he squeezes her hand, trying to bring her attention back up to him. ]

[And he looks so happy to see you two] Were you trying to kiss him?! What the-?!

[FREAKY YOU FREAKY SHAPESHIFTER DON'T GO MACKING ON OTHERS' BOYFRIENDS; But he'll look at Tadashi]

Tadashi, that's not Ino! It's an imposter! I just talked to the real Ino on the communicator!

[ And she's arriving just in time to hear that. NOT ONLY DID YOU STEAL HER FACE, BUT YOU'RE TRYING TO KISS HER BOYFRIEND??? EXCUSE YOU????

And now she's going to angrily stomp over to shove whoever this impostor is away from Tadashi. ]

Get the hell away from him!

Jesus, you guys move fast!

[ This isn't fair. It is clearly very unfair, but she moves before the shove reaches her and steps further back into the entrance of the Starstruck. She's so angry and cornered and alone. Most of it is the paranoia of her withdrawal but it doesn't stop the reactions knowing that. ]

What the fuck is your problem?! I'm not some kind of perverted cockhop, okay?! I didn't even know you had a boyfriend!

[ but at least tadashi is backing up now, bewildered as he looks from ino... to ino... and back. he glances at allen, openly bewildered, before sort of taking a step back. ok he does not want to get caught in the crossfire of this shit. ]

Who are you?

[ AND WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE HIS NINJA GF.... ]

Ah!

[Holy shit even he didn't think Ino would move THAT fast. He'll back up a bit too- mostly out of fear of Ino's wrath]

That's what I want to know!

[ Ino's just pulling a knife from the pouch on her leg, holding it in front of her as though she's ready to attack at any moment, inching closer. She is so mad right now. She just wanted to fucking brush her hair after her shower BUT NO. ]

Look, I don't know what the hell you think you're trying to do with my face, but don't you ever fucking touch him again! [ She gestures with the hand not holding the knife back to Tadashi ] Got it?!

[ Believe it or not, this is a first. For all that she runs herself into danger, at the first sight, she's usually gone. Her own anger is messing with her reactions and that just pisses her off more. She does, however, reach out to gesture and surreptitiously place a hand on the hull to prop herself up. ]

Hey, hold on a minute. [ WOW AARON good job way to actually invoke some sympathy in tadashi, because he's stepping forward now to try to catch ino's shoulder and just praying that she doesn't stab him in surprise.

look, he is super duper flattered, but he's also the guy who built a goddamn nursebot: violence is legit the last thing he wants to see right now. ]

She didn't do anything to me. Look, if she really needs help and she was desperate enough to do this - let's just hear her out. Okay?

[WOW HE IS SUDDENLY REGRETTING CALLING INO FOR THIS. ]

[ YES SHE DOES, ALLEN, SHUT UP. She's ignoring that to just look incredulously back at Tadashi ]

She tried to kiss you!

[ She isn't going to calm but that moment of someone wanting to listen is enough to bring hot tears to her eyes and she fucking—laughs? Ugh. Shaking her head violently, she just begins gesturing again. ]

He held my hand! Like, held my hand. I didn't want to scare him off, because I need this.

[ the glance he tosses ino and the way he squeezes her shoulder are both incredibly apologetic, but he's stepping forward now, moving to fall at least in line next to his girlfriend. ]
