Who: The crew of the SS TRAINWRECK STARSTRUCK AND YOU
Broadcast: Nope, it's a mingle!
Action: Starstruck
When: Late May, after this weekend's shuffle.
[HELLO, STARSTRUCK. It's been a while and our time on this planet is drawing to a close. Did you win enough things? Or go visit the planet? Well, it looks like we lost some crewmates to gain some so maybe we should get them all settled.]

[He shoves his plate away so he can properly stand in half-hearted outrage.]
That's absurd! She's nine inches tall! Just because you can't find her doesn't mean she's—she's permanently absent or something!
[He's waving a hand around as he speaks as if that would help him convey his message. It doesn't, for the record. But it does add some emphasis when he eventually claps it back down on the table.] Fine, then! If you're captain, who appointed you?
[He allows Zee a good second to answer before waving for his response.] Come on, then. Speak.

Atroma, I suppose? I'm certain there will be an announcement later.

[That seems to satisfy some part of him. He deflates, anger snuffed out and drifting off as he resettles in his seat.]
Then she is gone.
[Unsure how to feel, he stares at his plate in consideration. His normally fidgeting hands remain still, flattened on the table. It takes him a few minutes to recollect his thoughts. He looks up when he does, as if surprised Zee is still tolerating his presence. Probably because he has every right not to be after that display.]
—Sorry. I—It's the first time we've lost someone, I think. [For some reason, saying it out loud makes his throat thick.] If it's any consolation, I don't think our last captain had much experience, either. She managed just fine. I'm sure you will too.
[He falls silent before he realizes that silence is too awkward.] —None of us here really know what we're doing, I think. Well. Our cook does. One of them. That's about it.

It's alright, I understand. I'm sorry you've lost someone now. I'm afraid didn't know her. [ He smiles faintly. ] I will do my best.
Piper is the cook with experience, right? She's nice.

She is, yes. To both. [He taps his fork against his place, caught in the median between eating again and not.] Most of the crew is nice, though they can be rough at first. They mean well. They're all good people.
I'm Mattias. [A beat.] Did I say that already?
