A! For the gore of it!

[The yelling attracts her attention, and then the attacking bugs keep it focused. He seems to mostly be handling his own, but her dash in his direction dragged more of it their way.

Whoops. Sorry about that, dude. She'll just... grab that one headed for his back and phase out some of its insides. Her bad there, man.]

[Allen wasn't all that aware of his surroundings as he delivers another kick to the bug he just hit. It's not until he hears that sound that comes from insides being pulled out with phasing- does he turns his head to see just who it is behind him]

[He doesn't need to see the organs being ripped out to know what's going on. He could never forget the sound of phasing. Not ever. Not when the only person he knew with that ability had once used it to take out a piece of his heart and left him to die.]

[He's not sure what to make of it when he sees a girl instead of Tyki Mikk]

Who..are you?

[She blinks at him. Scratches her head (inadvertently getting bug guts in her hair). Stares back at him because, you know, he's staring a little.]

...Jinx.

Jinx.

[Uh. Right. Stupid question. He's not sure what else he expected. He sounds a little dumbfounded, trying to calm himself down.]

Right- well tha-

[ANNNND then he's tackled by that giant bug he had forgotten about with a yell. Be right back Jinx!]

[A snicker, and then a gasp as a bug charges her and catches Jinx by surprise. She goes down without a sound, and then comes back up through the bug.

The phase is slower than it should be. Jinx has no idea why her powers are treating them like they're denser than they should be. She pushes hard to phase completely through the bug, and reaches behind her to tug out more insides.

She heads towards him as soon as she finishes with hers, putting one more down on the way. It leaves her gasping, winded like she'd taken 2 passengers through a thick wall.]

[He meanwhile deals with his own bug. It's not so much with phasing, but with punching and clawing at it. Ugh. These things smell even grosser up close. But by the time Jinx reaches him- the thing is tied up in some white ribbons and webbing, and he's shoving a claw down into its head]

Ngh- why are these so tough!?

[She pants behind him, not quite wheezing with the effort.

Right? This was way harder than she had anticipated. And there were so many of them.

She's just gonna take a moment and lean on this wall, okay man?]
