[Much as he'd like to go onto the other ship, he does have one concern in mind.]

Captain, do you want me to stay with the ship? You know, in case something goes wrong in there, or if we need to get out of there quick.

That's... actually a really good idea. You're a civilian, right? If you've never fought a real battle, I definitely want you to stay back.

About the only real battling I've done was fighting off bullies in high school, and that's pretty much nothing compared to what you guys do. I've got a friend teaching me more about defending myself, and he's really stellar! But I still got a long way to go.

Bullies? Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. It's great that you're learning-- but until we know exactly what we're facing, you should stick to training.

I've fought everything from armies to angels to... giant haunted skeletons, so best to let me go in front.

[It's not like he got bullied much, but, well... You mess with his best friend, you mess with him, too.

... Giant haunted skeletons, though.]

Wow, uh. Yeah. If you can take down giant haunted... skeletons? You can definitely take on anything!

[And a deep breath, and - ]

YOU'RE SHEENA FUJIBAYASHI AND YOU'RE FINE!!

[WHOA SUDDENLY VOLUME. She forgot Clay does this. Which is... remarkable, because he probably practices frequently. She laughs, though, and that eases some of the tension. Then she yells back because she can.]

I'M SHEENA FUJIBAYASHI AND I'M FINE!

[He laughs in return, a big grin on his face as he claps his hands, because yes, that's exactly what he wants to see! Not that they shouldn't take this seriously, but too much tension is never good for anyone.]

Yeah, that's it! You'll be just fine in there! [He gives a two-fingered salute, fingers at his visor, and a wink.] You've got the full faith of your pilot behind you.

[He's great and she's so happy he's on her ship.]

And I've got full faith in my crew, so there you go. We'll all be fine.
