A cry for help

[a distress call has been tracked across the void, finally leading back to the source. a hulking crippled ship, teeming with hostile alien life, now lies before you.

what do you do? do you dive in or hang back? are you here to learn, play, build, or observe?

however you choose to proceed, your audience is out there somewhere, watching.]

ooc: here is a good ol' themed mingle to get you all started! and don't feel limited by the prompts and what they describe--they're just there as idea-starters, so feel free to go anywhere and do anything.

have fun!

[Bobbin is lost. He just wanted to explore a bit, that's all, and then the path twisted confusingly, and he was trying to avoid that large group of bugs and then one of the violent ones chased him for ages before he remembered he had a weapon tucked into his belt and...

He has no idea where he is now, is the point, and it's very dark even with a flashlight. As he walks, he tries to press himself up against the wall, keep himself as much out of the way of the worker bugs as possible. There's a tear in his robe along his left leg, through the trousers underneath and he might be bleeding slightly into his boot. It's alright. He's running on nervous adrenaline at this point, scared he might not find his way back.]

[Isabela is less loss, but probably just as messy as Bobbin even if she's bleeding a little mess. If there was a contest to see how much bug corpse you could get covered in Isabela would probably be right up there.

Luckily for Bobbin, although he daggers are drawn she can also easily tell the difference between an approaching bug swarm and a human(oid). His footsteps sound cautious, which could make him dangerous if he's armed and she appears unexpectedly, so she makes sure to round the corner well before he reaches the end of his current wall.]

You know, you don't have to stand so far from them. Unless you manage to tread on one they'll ignore you if they haven't attacked already.

[Not that that's stopped her killing a good number of worker bugs already.]
