[well... he is at least listening, though his already skeptical expression slowly grows flatter and squinter as she goes on. this story is... kind of hard for him to follow. for several reasons.

Point is, they eat pretty much anyone if they're hungry. So it's not like they're sweet fluffy kittens. This totally falls in line with your limit for me.

Yeah she's even giving him an appropriate "Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaassee" look, might even be reaching out to tug on his sleeve, the effect slightly ruined by being a little bloody but whatever. Hang out with her Zhas. This is a mutual hobby you both can enjoy.]

[you know, he's met people like this before. people who get a little grinny, hyper, talk-too-fast, unusually excited about getting to maim things. sometimes the really crazy ones would try to get him to come with. "Come on, buddy. Pal. Let's go hunting, you and me!"

mind you, they were all vampires, so he'd just as soon punch them in the throat for looking at him. this, though? it's kind of... "charming" seems like the wrong word, but it's the only one he can come up with. in a vampire, it's disgusting. in a human, it's almost endearing.

or maybe it's just because it's Syeira. hard to say.

either way, her theatrics get an equally theatrical (for him) eyeroll as he shrugs away from her hand and gestures with his whole head. c'mon, weirdo. bugs are this way.]

[If Sye is "weirdo" then Zhas is "grumpy". This would be some kind of strange Seven Dwarves reference if she were from Earth, but she's not so it isn't.

Anyway, she is just pleased as punch (can punch be pleased? It's punch), because it's much healthier to kill things as a group activity then doing it by yourself. Especially if you're enjoying it. She may have a slightly anterior motive for wanting to tag along with him. Like having him keep an eye on her, just in case. She's high, not stupid, ok.]

[he very rarely has things to punch around here, and it's rarer that he has anyone to punch them with, so he finds this sort of thing very constructive! watching a person fight, studying their movements, working with them in that context--he gets a lot more out of it than just sitting and talking.

so, as long as she isn't getting in the way, he'll be happy to have her along.]
