just when Lloyd thought he wouldn't be getting any action. he could hear the scurrying even before they properly entered the ship, and already had his swords out by the time the first batch of bugs pounced. he slices them down easily, moving hard and fast before any of them could get their claws on him for long.
it's a little strange, though. with his normal attacks he can slice them down easy, but with artes (particularly anything in the Demon Fang branch) he's having some difficulty landing the attacks. it's like the attacks are bouncing off and not doing any damage at all.
a bit of a hindrance, but it's not something that'll get Lloyd down, no sir. he is perfectly a-okay with brute force. ]

he's particularly keeping an eye out for anyone that seems to be in trouble, whether or not they're from the fleet, so if your character is in trouble then he'll be swooping into the rescue, regardless of your relationship to him. ]

[But of course he's there, even if he's unhappily so. Being on this ship just seems like a bad idea to him, but unfortunately the others insisted and he was not cold hearted enough to reject there reasons. He really needs to work on this whole having morals thing.]
So...anyone have any thoughts on what creepy thing happened here?

at this point, Lloyd's already trying to unravel what'd happened aboard this ship. the distress call had been sent out for a reason, and it wasn't in Lloyd's nature to ignore it (Dwarven Vow #2)-- hence why he not only set out to invesigate, but successfully dragged Kaneis with him. no need to work on the "having morals" thing when Lloyd is there to remind you of them.
he turns to Kaneis when he speaks up. ]
