Who: Yosuke Hanamura and YOU!
Broadcast: Fleetwide!
Action: HMS Marsiva hospitality deck
When: 6/17!
► [ action ]
[ Yosuke doesn't stay in that bed for long. He rolls over... and falls right out of it. dfjakl
He sits up with a jolt, wide awake, and that does not at all help the shock of being somewhere completely foreign. He's on his feet in barely even a second, looking around, trying to see anything that might just give him a clue. There's not much, of course, and falling back on instinct, he reaches under the jacket of his school uniform for his kunai. But they're... not there. What...? ]
What the hell...?
[ He tries to take a few deep breaths, but he's too antsy to stay still in the face of something completely unknown. So he starts wandering away from his bed, and rather quickly - because if there aren't answers, he's going to put that on hold for a minute or two.
He has his friends to find. And he has to find them now. ]
► [ audio ]
[ Okay. He's calmed down a bit more now. Sort of.
He grabs the device from its place near where he woke up. So even though he's never seen one of these things before, somehow, he knows exactly what to do with it. Maybe it's just techno-instinct? The way they talk about his generation growing up on computers all the time - that's gotta be what's going on. Right? ... Yeah, well, one relization at a time.
He starts broadcasting. On purpose, even! ]
Okay. I have no idea who's listening to this, but if you can hear me, I just woke up in this weird... Uh. Space ship. [ A second of silence. ] I don't know, but that's what it looks like! But seriously, the point is, what's going on and how do I get out of here?
[ A longer silence this time - one with a sense of hesitation... until he finally decides, hell with it, and speaks up again! ]
If this is the Plane - I mean, you know, because it looks like space - then can someone really tell me what the hell is going on?
[ The sad part is, he's not entirely sure if he wants this to be the Plane or not... ]

Yeah, thanks. I get the big picture, so how about telling me how I got to space? Or why I'm in space?

Video; private (filtered to Yosuke)
[When the video feed clicks on, Adachi gives a loud, exasperated sigh. Holding a hand to his forehead in feigned frustration.]
I was wondering when one of you punks was going to show up. Though out of all the possible pain in the asses, it had be this idiot. Guess you're going to have to dip into some major saved up vacation days from Junes...
Video; private
While Adachi's speaking, Yosuke follows up on the filters and switches on his own video. He's still not sure how he knows exactly how to do that, as though it were just common knowledge and instinct, but right now, he doesn't care.
To say he looks wary would be a pretty grand understatement. Eyes narrowed into a glare, teeth clamped tightly together... yeah, this whole thing's a lot to take in, and this sure doesn't help. ]
You--! You don't get to call me an idiot! What are you doing here? And what do you mean, wondering when we'd show up?!
[ When in doubt/panic, ask useless things, apparently. ]
Re: Video; private
Hey now, no need to be so hostile. It's not like I wanted to come here or anything. It just happened. I've been here patiently waiting for the rescue party to show up. I mean, that's what you're here for right? You came to rescue me with all your little investigation team buddies?
[Adachi knows that's not the case at all, but he's definitely hoping that these questions will get some kind of information out of Yosuke. Or, at the very least, an all too entertaining reaction.]

Like hell! I don't even know where this is - what this is! If you've been here waiting so long, why don't you tell me what the hell is going on?
[ Sure, Yosuke, see how far that gets you. ]

Audio;
You get offa it soon. But it'll be onto 'nother ship.
no subject
[ But that's not a lot of explanation, and he's still pretty in the dark. [
Another ship? What, seriously? Why?
no subject
You ain't gotten the talk yet? Fleet, driftin' through space, some kinda telly-vision show...
no subject
[ That makes sense. ... Even though it doesn't really help matters. He'd prefer to be on no ship at all. ]
Not really, no, I just woke up and got zero answers from the automated everything ever in this damn room.
(no subject)
audio;
There's no way to get out of there - I checked, when I was on board a while back. They'll assign you to another ship soon.
no subject
[ Doot doot. Doot. ]
Assign? For what? Is this like a weird job thing? [ Beat. ] How'd I even get here?
no subject
Kind of. We're supposedly on some reality show, but I don't think anyone knows how they got here. I'm still trying to figure that out myself.
[His theory: he pissed off some super powerful alien, and this is revenge. But that's not applicable to everyone here.]
no subject
Whoa. Hold on. So I'm suddenly in space, and on a reality TV show? What-- Don't they have to make us sign something to say that's even okay?!

[ Someone he knows
that isn't cabbage patch detective! Relief! You can practically hear the smile as he lets out a breath he didn't even realize he was holding. ]Where are you? Are you okay?
[ audio ]
Are you OK?
no subject
The... Paisley? Who names a ship something like that? Anyway, I'm... okay. I think. I'd be better if I knew how the heck I got here and how to get back home.

As for what is going on, we don't know everything yet. We've been told that we are on a television program, that there are people watching all of us interact with one another, but we have no real way to know if our captors are telling us the truth.
no subject
wait what television program. ]
Program? Seriously? Geez, this just gets weirder and weirder... So there's like cameras everywhere? And people are actually watching us? Supposedly?
no subject
I'm sorry that I do not have better news to greet you with. [and the way her eyebrows knit slightly, she really does look sorry] But, luckily, you should be relatively safe while you are here. While our captors clearly have no regard for our freedom, it seems that they have no intention to hurt us either.
no subject
I guess that kinda figures. Wouldn't want to do anything to us that might make for bad TV, huh? [ He gives a huff of a laugh. ] Hey, thanks for the answers. Even if no one really knows much, you still know more than me.
