[sleeping Pearl kinda looks dead. If anything, it's probably because she's not moving at all. Or breathing, for that matter. And when she regains consciousness, it's all at once. No gradual waking up for her.

In fact, as soon as her eyes pop open, she's scrambling out of the bed, getting tangled in the bedsheets, and falling onto the floor right onto her face with a loud thud.

A hissing intake of breath, and then Pearl is turning around and staring in surprise at...the bed.]

Sleeping? But that's not...I've never -

[and then she finally sees the giant windows and more importantly, the fact that she's in space. Oh and also that she's probably been kidnapped or something like that.

GARNET! AMETHYST!!!

[and she's tearing off the bedsheets and scrambling to her feet. Don't hyperventilate. Stay calm. Don't freak out. This doesn't look like Gem based technology. Then again, she barely knows what modern Gem technology looks like. But, but it could also be some completely unknown alien species who had somehow kidnapped her and taken her hostage and of which she knows absolutely nothing about!!

...But that's impossible! You weren't gone for three months! Even if we were to take into account the primitive concept of traveling at relativistic speeds, we would have definitely known!!

I'm okay! I'm okay, everyone here is really nice-- a bunch of people kinda take care of me. I'm on the First Breath. You should meet some of them-- Fenris and Jim and the Commander and Dr Crusher and a ton of people.

[But that other part . . . Steven tips his head uncertainly.]

Some people say that time kinda freezes at home? Nobody notices you're gone while you're gone, I think.

Lapis dragging them both into the ocean. And then we went back to the house, and you told me to go to sleep, and-- and then I woke up here.

I'm okay now! How . . . how long has it been back home? Did you notice me missing?

It's been a while. We've cleaned up the beach, found Peridot's pod, and last I remember, we were going after the monster in Amethyst's room. [not that it means much to you.]

We didn't notice you were missing at all!!

[.......wait. That's a faint flush on her cheeks.] I meant, you were right there with us when we were doing all those things.

There was a monster in Amethyst's room? I-- but if I was there, then--

Either way, we're here now and we'll do our best to get home. [it's a little easier to channel Garnet when there's nobody else more responsible around.]
