Hey. I get that people around here leave sometimes, but... I just want to make absolutely sure before... I-I don't know. I just want to make sure.

[ There's a slightly long pause here. ]

... Has anyone seen Chie Satonaka lately? She was on the SS Paisley.

[ He'll leave communications completely open. While he's waiting for an answer, he'll just sit here and beat himself up and maybe revisit a particular conversation he had earlier with a particular drunk dude about particularly very related things. ]

Sure. I'll be over soon. Um, I'm still getting used to the registries, but you're on... [give him a few seconds, he's a bit inept with technology, but he gets it eventually!] the Starstruck?

[That's Elena's ship. Stefan furrows his brows, trying not to think about it - he's going for Yosuke's sake, not to visit his ex-girlfriend.

True to his word, though, he arrives on the bridge soon, with his trusty messenger bag (and his deck of cards). It doesn't hit him until he's craning his head, trying to find a guy who looks like his mental image of Yosuke - he's yet to see this guy on video.

It can't be that hard to find a (hopefully Japanese) guy on this ship, right?]

[ Oh yeah, whoops, he's got no clue what this guy looks like! Crap. But he answers anyway - yeah, it's the Starstruck, and see you in a bit - and then all he can really do is... wait. Whoops?

But someone he doesn't immediately recognize pops onto the bridge, and he figures, must be him. So with a small smile, he waves. ]

Yo. Stefan, right?

Right - and you must be Yosuke. [Stefan lets out a sigh of relief as he approaches Yosuke and holds out his hand.] It's nice to finally meet you in person.

[He laughs, though his embarrassment's pretty clear.] Normally, I'm way better about asking for things like "what do you look like."

[ He laughs, too, and shakes his hand. ] Ehh, it's not really like it came up at any point. It's cool - we figured it out, right?

I think I would've narrowed it down eventually. Maybe not immediately, but you know... [He shrugs, almost nonchalantly.]

So would you want to play cards here, or should we move somewhere else?

Well, there's more room in the kitchen. And a table. [ ... Sigh. ] Unfortunately, nowhere's really all that comfortable. We're pretty cramped here. Is it like that on your ship, or did I just draw the short straw?

[ Either way, he's starting toward the kitchen, gesturing for Stefan to follow. ]

Nope, my ship's worse. It's more on the cramped side, and impossibly so. [He follows after Yosuke, gesturing towards the hallways.]

You know they did it on purpose too, just to manufacture drama because we can't easily get away from each other.

That sucks. It's hard to imagine worse than this.

Yeah, there's no way this wasn't on purpose. Just great for a TV show! [ He rolls his eyes. ] I hope it goes bust and we can all go back home.

A guy can dream. In the meantime, I figure playing with the system'll work.

You know you can upgrade your ship, right? Not sure how much more comfortable it'll get, but I've been pooling my credits towards a better kitchen.
