Anyway, this morning Kairi told the crew that she was one of the "Princesses of Heart"? She said you knew about it as well.

[Kairi smiles as she approaches Riku from behind.]

There's just a lot of weird... light, and darkness, here. [ he pinches the bridge of his nose. ] I can barely see a thing if I try to sense for someone.

It's not my fault. [There's a small, exasperated sigh.] Between the sheer number of people I have to feed, plus how much Sokka and Allen eat, it's a wonder I'm never in the kitchen. [Despite her protests, though, she's smiling. Her crew means a lot to her, and they trust her enough to feed them.]

Oh. Yeah, it's... a mixed bunch here, that's for sure. I forgot how weird it must seem. [Riku was likely sensing Allen's Noah, plus her and Aang. She's gotten so used to it she hardly notices the hodgepodge anymore, but she reminds herself that to someone who wasn't accustomed to the ship, it's a mess. And Riku's about as sensitive as she is to it.]

You know, you can always ask for help. [ hesitantly touches her shoulder. ] I know your crew's important--and Robin can take care of himself after a while.

[ ... ] As long as I make sure he's not doing a project.

[ he rubs his temple. ] It's weird and it's kind of giving me a headache. I guess you're used to it, though.

[Oh, Riku. She smiles and squeezes his hand in thanks.] I'll be all right. Beverly helps when she can and I do like it. Though you're always welcome to come over if you want, and meet everyone.

[Her smile turns sympathetic.]

Yeah. It was a little weird when Aang came on board, but it's sort of leveled out now. [A part of her wants to explain, but she's not all sure why Aang is how he is, and as for Allen... that's not her secret to reveal. If Riku does ask and is really weird, she'll offer a vague explanation, but no details. Not that she doesn't trust Riku not to keep it quiet, but rather, she'd rather not violate Allen's trust.]
