Who: SS Red Fish crew
Broadcast: nup
Action: yurp. It's a crew mingle!
When: Today/forward-dated according to preference.
[Holy smokes, Red Fish had four people now! They're almost finished forming a five man band. Who's gonna be the leader? Who's gonna be the lancer? If Hange is the leader, is Zhas the lancer? Wait, obviously Zhas is The Big Guy. So Coil is The Smart Guy? Does Nunnally have to be the chick? No way, Nunnally. We believe in you. You're way too useful to be the chick. UwU ♥ ]

Ah, hand code! Excellent! [Well it's obvious who he's talking about, but of course she doesn't understand that.]
Can you spell your name for me, kiddo?

he rattles the letters off fast]
'C-O-I-L'

She spells his name right back. She flubs the change between C and O a little because they're so similar, but I and L come out nice and clear.]

he does point at her though, in a vaguely questioning way]

[he'll sign that much. mostly because he has no idea how her last name would be spelled.
so, there. she can have an E.]

but, at least he's got some slim avenue for communication, he supposes.]

he points at the measly treadmill and spells out a word, complete with one of those drawn question marks at the end]
'A-L-L-?'

Yup. I'm afraid that's it. [She shrugs.]

the sign might not be one that she knows explicitly, but it's clearly one of distaste--a flat hand set on his mouth and then flicked away. he clearly doesn't like it.]

he gets an idea, but he stalls over trying to figure out how to ask it.
eventually, he opts for charades. he mimes holding something in font of him, almost like one would hold into the handles of a bike. but then he keeps his fingers in that shape and draws his hands out to the side, showing that whatever it is is very long. he ends with as far as his arms can extend out to the sides, showing with flat hands that it ends at that length on either side.
and then a question mark sign and he points around curiously. as if asking if she's got anything like what he demonstrated lying around]
