[Aside from hijinks on the beach planet, the crew has a few things to get used to. The departure of one captain, the abrupt promotion of another, plus new crew members. Let's see how things go...]

I didn't think there was any better place to start. [ Riley when did you mature so much? Oh, right, but she kind of makes a face and thinks. ] But I think Elize and Cullen are still doing things. And there might be new people. So maybe everyone should meet.

Right. We're a crew, after all. And just because I'm a captain now, no one's voice is less important.

A crew meeting really is the way to go. So says the capain!

[He squints uncertainly.]

[ ...Dad. Dad. What does she do with you? Sometimes she doesn't even know, but it's nice and so she can't say that. So she pauses a moment and then tries: ]

You sound like a lot of things. Maybe you should ask the others. At the meeting, they're sure to have lots of things to say.

Right. Got it. [It all does seem kind of simple when he thinks about it. He just needed Riley to help him focus on it.]

Everyone will get their say. I guarantee it. [Then he smiles and waves a hand at Riley, trying to wave it in the shape of a hook.] Or they walk the plank!

Okay, I'll make sure they do. [ BECAUSE DAD THAT MEANS HER TOO. Dad, let her be a grown up (no she doesn't want to be a grown up anymore). But she smiles, and then another slightly concerned pause.] ...I don't think we have a plank.

I knew I could count on you.

...A space plank, then. [He teases.]

I don't want anyone to be walking any planks!

It's a joke, Riley. Come on, it's not like we're actually going to get eyepatches and parrots and golden doubloons. [He's put too much thought into this...]
