Who: Max Caulfield & Anybody
Broadcast: Open
Action: SS Marsiva
When: Saturday, pre-shuffle
[ Max is almost used to waking up in weird places. But when she awakens to the crisp, clean, sterile surroundings of the Marsiva's hospitality deck, she knows something is wrong. Her dorm room, Chloe's room, school maybe, the lighthouse... but this felt more like a hospital. Where...? ]
This isn't... where is this? [ She's quick enough to her feet, glancing around. ] Calm down, Max, just need to figure out... where......
[ She trails off when she catches sight of those bowing windows in the viewing bay, showing... space. ]
No way. No way... This can't be real.
[ She seems to be in denial for a few moments. Gaping, staring, taking a step back...
And then, hands shaking... she pulls out an old instant camera and snaps a picture. "Always take the shot." That's what she had been told.
She shakes the photo that pops out for a moment, then stares at it, as if the view would somehow be different. But alas, it is not. ] This is really happening, isn't it? I'm in space. How?
[ Assume she's open to messages here. During and following those, though, she'll be snooping around the deck, looking at and through anything and everything. Snoop, Max, snoop and figure things out. ]

There's people who aren't human or from Earth, yes, if that's what you mean.

Think we can convince them to send us home? [ She doesn't sound like she's putting much faith in that plan. If other people have been here, they'd've tried that already for sure. ]

[Like a serious bummer]
No one's had much luck so far. They don't really respond to any messages we send them. I mean, besides sending money if we do something that improves our "ratings".

I have to get back to my friends, though. And... [ Stop the end of the world? ] ...school, I guess. Going missing is seriously gonna mess things up.

[He frowns a little sympathetically]
I'm sorry. I wish I had better news. There's a chance you might get sent back right at the moment you left, though I...don't know about that for sure.

Granted, arriving back in Arcadia Bay with time to stop the end of the world would be a good thing. Just... unsure on the thought of the bad guys having time powers at all. ]

[He meanwhile isn't aware of why she seems so unsure. Maybe she's just not used to freaky powers...? It's a mystery]

It sounds like a bad episode of a British sci-fi show. [ She's binged some Dr. Who, she knows this. ]

I'd say that American things can be just as bad! [RUDE]

But aren't Americans the ones fixated on those "reality tv" shows?
[Okay so he's less sure about that one, but it's always americans bringing it up!!]

....Literally. [ Get it? Universal? because they're in space? ]

Nice one.

I'm sorry, but I don't believe I've caught your name yet.

We're mostly left up to our own devices. What you decide to do with your time is your choice, it seems.
