Who: Margie and YOU
Broadcast: Video!
Action: SS Bishop
When: August 19, afternoon.
[ Video; ]
Ah...it works. Hello.
[ The very bulky woman on the screen smiles slightly and waves to the camera; she doesn't really have that much to say, it seems -- she follows up her 'hello' by holding up a piece of paper with some badly drawn cats on it.
The people in the picture -- there seem to be 5 in all, two of whom seem extremely familiar -- are very cartoon-like, and it's clear that she is no artist. One of them -- a cat with blue hair -- has hearts drawn around him, one is singing, and the other unfamiliar one seems to have a permanent scowl. ]
My miqo'te have gone missing. [ Because that explains everything? ] They are small, and have ears... [ She waves her free hand up over her head, indicating cat ears. ] And tails. One carries a large book, one a bow, and the other three carry around large swords.
If found, please return to Margie Detemps. That's me. Thank you.
[ She reaches, as if to turn off the camera -- and then pauses. ]
Oh...and, what is everyone's favorite rock?
[ Yes, she nods. This is a good introductory question to the world at large and obviously a very important one. ]
[ Action; ]
[ If you want to catch her on the ship, she can be found wandering around with the same poster in her hands, looking in the most weird places she can think of to place a smaller person than herself. In containers, under doors... ]

I had been unaware that we were yours.
My friends, not mine...I'm sorry.
You are well?
no subject
Yes. Marhi is here as well, though none other.
no subject
Why us, and not them too?
no subject
no subject
[ Nods; both of them do sort of arrive at their own terms. ]

[ :( cat husband. ]

no subject
Oh. Well, maybe...if he finds out I was missing.
[ Though it would be a little hard not to find out she was missing considering you know, they were all standing around after Estinien... ]
If time continues back home?

No, he will not. But there is no time limit to how long we are here...

Find them and capture them?
no subject
Well if you find out more let me know. I would like to return home to my family soon.
no subject
I shall.

[ Don't let her do the stealth work she's a sore thumb ]

[that's an odd question]

[ Though, she actually gives a proper answer: ]
I enjoy mining. Rocks are enjoyable to talk about.
no subject
From what I understand, human miners are typically overworked, underpaid, and contract a veritable litany of diseases.
no subject
[ Shrugging; she assumes that humans is generally referring to people on Eorzea, and just goes from there. ]
I do not know any miner who is underpaid if they work for the Concern. Where did the 'disease' aspect come from?
no subject
Breathing in too many particulates can apparently wreck havoc on human lungs. [but if you're not...] What were you mining?
no subject
I see. I imagine it would hurt my lungs too, assuming I did not just get rid of the disease with magic? [ Shrugs! ] Many things. Lots of gems and ores to sell to the guilds of Eorzea.
no subject
But:]
Gems? You have...the type of culture that uses them for decorative purposes, right?
[she probably doesn't like jewelry stores all that much]
no subject
[ Margie nods. ]
Yes, and for magical purposes. A gem can be used to suffuse an item with magical properties -- enhancing their protection from fire, or harnessing the power of the elements more clearly.
Do you not have jewelry where you come from...?
no subject
Gold - perhaps, though, that is too far a metal. You might consider me returned.
no subject
It is not too far a metal. I think it counts. My favorite rock is actually electrum.

Then it seems the wisest choice. An ore of great use, and little provision would do well on any marketboard.
no subject
Not many people would put raw ore on their tables and consider it decoration, it's true...
no subject
[ She certainly wouldn't be offended by a shiny pile of metal in her house. ]

[ This is why Pava and Margie are poor. ]
no subject
[ This is why she has a fund for indebted scions. Admittedly she hasn't had much use, save preventing Miah from ending up in an unsavoury place. ]

We will need all of us, to fight this system. I do not think we can do it alone.
