I've noticed a lot of discussion lately on the ways in which we can re-purpose the Iskaulit, but I am wondering if any thought has been put into organization. The ideas people are sharing are good and I believe they should be pursued, [some more than others if you ask her,] but a mad dash for space and resources won't do anyone any good.

We may also wish to consider leaving some of the ship's space free. Things have been relatively quiet, but we may find ourselves in need in an emergency.

Yes. Maker forbid that anything serious should happen, but we need to consider the possibility.

I definitely agree- you never know when Atroma might decide to have "mass systems failure" as the next dramatic plot twist.

This is why I wanted to have a small clinic or at least a cache of medical supplies on the Iskaulit as well- as a doctor, it's part of my job to think of every angle, including the eventuality of injuries.

That is a wise idea. Each of us should be thinking ahead to the possibility that supplies may become limited or lost. An emergency supply of food to be store might not be such a bad idea as well.

It would be difficult to account for the number of people on the Fleet in that regard, but a little food is better than none at all should the worst come to pass.

Yeah- and now that you mention it, I really don't know how many people are on the Fleet. Might be wise to try and get a rough headcount... but then again, given how often people come here and leave... [She shrugged.] Still, it's a solid idea. We get plentiful supplies of protein, and I know people have talked about making a garden on the Iskaulit as well. Fresh food won't hold up, but the protein will.

We should make an effort to track the number of people and where they are positioned within the Fleet as well as their augments. The more organized we can become, the better.

Like a census of sorts. We never know when that kind of information might be useful. Even if we aren't forced to shelter on the Iskaulit, we can still keep track of who would be most useful where...

I know there was some talk earlier of potentially cross-training one another. We may wish to see who would be willing to do that.

Definitely. I know I want to teach first-aid lessons myself- and in turn would like to spar and sharpen my fighting skills a bit.

We should speak with Ino. I know she had made attempts earlier at organizing efforts like this. Perhaps with more people working on it, we might have greater success.

I agree- and I'm sure a lot of us have useful things we can teach each other. We all come from so many different places and have unique talents... seems a shame to not try.

I've never spoken to Ino before, but I'll definitely bring it up with her.

Seriously- you'd think being on a reality show would be more interesting. But then again, they edit out the boring parts for the audience.

I find it easy to forget they are there with a few exceptions.

Which is both a good and a bad thing- who would've thought we'd get used to being watched 24 hours a day?
