I've noticed a lot of discussion lately on the ways in which we can re-purpose the Iskaulit, but I am wondering if any thought has been put into organization. The ideas people are sharing are good and I believe they should be pursued, [some more than others if you ask her,] but a mad dash for space and resources won't do anyone any good.

We may also wish to consider leaving some of the ship's space free. Things have been relatively quiet, but we may find ourselves in need in an emergency.

It is a possibility. Or Atroma may have a hand in something malfunctioning. [There's also the possibility of disease.] Either way, we should have something in place so that we can keep as many people safe and healthy as we possibly can.

Then I think that's a good idea. [ And because she likes Cassandra, Elize might just follow most of her ideas anyway. ]

I can help too! I can heal, if anything bad happens...

That would be a great help. [And she's not even patronizing!] Of course, you would need to keep yourself safe.

Yes ma'am. [ Just a term of address she uses on occasion with people she looks up to, like Milla, even though she could've just said her name. ]

Self-protection is important, I understand.

I'm glad that you do. There are some adults who certainly don't.

[princessia]

[ ...She feels like a little grown-up hearing that! ] Why are some adults so reckless?

[Cassandra laughs a little.]

I wish I knew, Elize. I might be able to straighten them out if I did.

[princessia]

We'll just have to keep looking out for those reckless adults.

[ Like when she has to remind Cullen to eat. ]

We certainly will. I'm sure they will listen to you far better than they will me.

[princessia]

...Me? I don't know about that.

[ Because she often has adults underestimating her. ]

What makes you say that?

[Tell Auntie and she will tell you what a little badass you are, okay.]

[princessia]

I understand that I'm still a child. It's harder to get people to listen to me.

[ Or take her seriously. Not impossible, just that it takes more effort. ]

That is often an excuse on their part for not listening at all. People will find any reason not to listen to you if it's not exactly what they want to hear on important matters.

That's where you need to be sure you don't give up and speak louder if necessary.

...yes. [ Easier said than done, but she really believes Cassandra is right. ]

I'm still not very comfortable with speaking to people.

[ Yet she does try her best. She hasn't realized she has grown much better at communicating since arriving on the fleet. ]

You didn't seem to have much trouble speaking to me the first time.

[This is a little bit of a lie. It's not like Cassandra isn't aware she's intimidating as fuck and Elize was initially hiding a little behind Cullen as a buffer. But she did better than some adults do around Cassandra, so hey...!]

...I did? [ She sounds surprised! ] Probably because you're Cullen's friend.

[ Totally believing that lie and rolling with it. Cassandra was scary at first. Even Cullen warned Elize beforehand. Then she told her about Druffy and everything got better.]

I've seen people much older than you not do half as well as you did meeting me the first time even if they do happen to know Cullen.

[princessia]

How did those people react?

Cowardly. Certainly not brave enough to look me in the eye.
