I've noticed a lot of discussion lately on the ways in which we can re-purpose the Iskaulit, but I am wondering if any thought has been put into organization. The ideas people are sharing are good and I believe they should be pursued, [some more than others if you ask her,] but a mad dash for space and resources won't do anyone any good.

We may also wish to consider leaving some of the ship's space free. Things have been relatively quiet, but we may find ourselves in need in an emergency.

I was thinking something along those lines, yes. Captains would need to be present, at the very least. Perhaps one other member or members who wish to make use of the space.

I would never desire a free-for-all discussion. Not that many people need to speak at once.

Pretty sure most people would agree that a safe space for a retreat is sound, at least. Working out extra fortifications shouldn't be difficult.

We do have a very skilled group of engineers that I'm sure would be willing to put in the extra effort.

Free space like that could even double as a training area. I'm dying to teach the kids around here self-defense so I don't have to keep crossing my fingers every time they head off on their own.

You may wish to speak to Ino about that. I know she was attempting to organize training efforts shortly after I arrived.

So who's going to organize this effort? You? Someone's got to ring the bell to get the captains together long enough to make a decision.

Initially if there is a need. But I would imagine others might prefer it be in the hands of someone else.

That doesn't mean others would prefer it rest solely in any one person's hands, let alone my hands.
