When: 8/31, at night
[the video pops on in the heron's bunk room, propped up on what can be assumed to be a pillow. hinata sits on his bed, and for the first time, he's decided to address the network. he never really knew how to go about it before, but now he has a reason to try.
[he's sitting with his knees up, a volleyball in his lap and his hands on top of that. his face is tucked just a bit behind it, adding to the illusion that he's smaller than he appears. for those of his shipmates, and those who know him, he seems... significantly subdued. when he speaks, it's apparent why.]
What do you guys do when you're homesick?

Volleyball! That's a sport I haven't played before. Tell me about your club, who're the members and everything?

[you will get used to that sound he just made]
They're the best! Even though some of them are kind of jerks... Our captain is Sawamura-san, he's the best receiver on the team! He's kind of scary sometimes... And then there's Sugawara-san, he's one of our setters, and he's super cool! I think he's better at dealing with people than anybody. Our ace, Asahi-san, is the real deal! He's super tall, and super strong! Plus he's really nice, even if he looks kind of intimidating.
[you have opened the floodgates]
There are a few second-years that I don't know as well, Ennoshita-san, Kinoshita-san, and Narita-san, but they're really nice! The second-years I usually get to play with are Tanaka-senpai and Noya-senpai! They're both really loud, and kind of intimidating. Noya-senpai is so cool, though! He's even shorter than I am, but our team would lose all the time if we didn't have him! And Tanaka-senpai is a great spiker! He's really protective of the team, kind of like everybody's big brother!
[anddd then he pauses a little.]
I'm one of the first-years... and the other ones are kind of jerks, except for Yamaguchi. He's only a jerk when he's around Tsukishima... who is pretty much a jerk all the time. He doesn't get along with anybody but Yamaguchi and Sugawara-san, but he's a really good middle blocker!
... And then there's Kageyama.
[and he grimaces a little.]

Ha, wow! You should teach me how to play sometime! I hardly know what any of those positions even are.
[But...] Kageyama?

[ah, but he's asking about kageyama now.]
Mmmrr, Kageyama's the biggest jerk ever. He's our starting setter. He's some kinda volleyball genius, and he's super good at reading people's moves. He trains harder than anybody but me, and he used to be really, really awful at trusting his team, but I guess he's gotten better at that. We have this move we use against our competition that everybody calls the "freak quick" because he can set the ball really super fast, and I'm the only one who can really get to it in time. He actually aims the set so the ball goes right into my hand!
[see, he started talking about him with a look and tone of annoyance, but by the end of it, he's pretty excited.]
Our opponents always see me and think I'm too tiny to be a good middle blocker! But with our attacks, we always show them we're tough enough to go all the way to nationals! [the stars in these eyes, man.]

Sounds like you guys make the best team with tactics like that!
