So, it's September already, which means my birthday is coming up!

I mean, it's technically February back home, but I'm not gonna complain about celebrating my birthday early. Besides, that seems like way too complicated math to try and figure out what it should be.

[But then again, this is the guy who struggled at determining the age of someone who was a baby 50 years ago...]

Okay, for starters, Caesar doesn't cry. [This is patently untrue. Joseph's seen Caesar both come close to tears and actually cry. But she doesn't need to know that and he won't ruin Caesar's machismo image here and now.] Second, why would I care if he cried or not when he would have hit me?

Everyone cries sometimes.

[ Doesn't make him less manly!!! Even the manliest men she has ever met have cried at least once. ]

We're best friends.

[It's a proud distinction that they're best friends, not just friends. As friendly as Joseph is, as easily as he can get people to like him (generally speaking), he's never really had a best friend before Caesar. So, of course, he makes it very clear. Everyone should know.]
