[It's been a whirlwind day for Kurt Wagner. He was emotionally raw from a traumatic event when he woke up in space. Kurt had arrived on the day of the shuffle and had been doing his best to try to keep a low profile. People aren't always the most acceptable of a fuzzy blue mutant who looks like a devil, after all. And he'd managed to pick up the basics, at least, between what encounters he had on the Marsiva, while managing to be lucky enough to avoid the network.
His luck ran out once he was shuffled onto the Huntress. The video feed catches an unsuspecting Kurt Wagner tinkering with his watch and being increasingly frustrated with it as he keeps prodding at it.]
Come onnn.... Why won't it work? Oh man!
[ooc: Of course, if any other new characters want, they can alternately run into him before the Shuffle, anywhere on the Marsiva. Choose your own adventure!]

Oh my god. Okay, uh, you see those buttons on that side over there? Fiddle with them a little and you'll get this working pretty fast. [Insert some simple, yet detailed instructions because if there's one thing Shawn has mastered, it is this.]
It takes a while to get used to, but people get the hang of it pretty fast.

He's not exactly sure if he had a watch in the comics either, but it's rude to ask something like that, so...] N-no problem, and uh, sorry about your watch. If you're any good with metal scraps, we've got plenty on our current moon.
I could take a look, but one, I can't promise you anything and two, I'm not as much of an Engineer as my augment says I am.

No problem! It's sometimes hard to tell what people've heard and what they haven't, but you should be good as long as you know about ratings and your augment. Which, by the way, does a scary amount of the work for you in knowing stuff.

It's still so weird sometimes, being all the way up here. You get used to it, kinda, but then I look outside sometimes and it's like, man, I miss fresh air and only having one sun, versus passing fifty of them. [Only a slight exaggeration.]

No idea. I think keeping actual food might be too expensive for them, but it also doesn't taste bad... so I haven't thought about it too much.
