Who: Caesar Zeppeli and u! Also Joseph Joestar's birthday party and u! MULTIPURPOSE
Broadcast: Fleetwide!
Action: Caprine! Because this mess is not happening on his ship.
When: Wednesday, September 23; Sunday, September 27.
video } wednesday, september 23
Someone needs to explain fried chicken to me.
[. . . no, that appears to be the lead-in to this video. Caesar looks a little offended, and he kind of is; this has actually been explained to him, but there are, in his opinion, a hundred better things you could do with a chicken than fry it. Sacrilegious. No one ever take him to an Olive Garden.]
It seems like a good way to dry the chicken out if you're not careful. And frying is so unhealthy. [Why not dunk it in alfredo sauce instead.]
Also, what the hell is coleslaw.
Also, I do need help with some baking. A cake.
[What was the other thing. Oh, yes.]
Joseph Joestar's birthday is this Sunday. He's been forbidden from talking about it, so I encourage everyone to talk to him about it as much as possible.
[What a good friend.]
action } sunday, september 27
[On Sunday, because he is a good friend, an absolute shit-ton of food appears; because he holds the sanctity and cleanliness of his ship to be pretty sacred, it appears in the Caprine's cargo bay. Decorations are hit-or-miss, in part because that's not really his strong suit and in part because he's pretty sure Joseph won't actually care. There's food.]
[Although there are other things too, past the small mountain of non-nutritional-paste foodstuffs. Music, for one thing, although it's a strange mishmash of things that sounded familiar to a 1930s ear, things that didn't totally offend him, and things that other people contributed. About halfway through the afternoon, something roughly analogous to hip-hop crackles across the speakers, startling everyone, if by everyone you mean probably just Caesar.]
[It's a party, y'all. Have fun. Don't let Joseph eat all the fried chicken.]
( ooc; OBVIOUSLY THIS POST WAS SUPPOSED TO GO UP SOONER, but due to Reasons it did not. if you don't mind, please keep birthday mingle stuff under the toplevel i put up for it - otherwise go nuts and have fun! ♥ )

BIRTHDAY PARTY MINGLE STUFF GOES HERE
no subject
Ino already gave Jojo his presents from her earlier, but she's here to hang out! She also probably brought a few snacks she made -- things she could remember were popular in America, mostly. She's pretty sure neither of them have been to Japan or know anything about its cuisine, so stuff from home probably wasn't the best bet. Stuff like tiny pigs in a blanket, etc. are what she ends up bringing ...
She also might be looking really confused at this selection of music, like, what even is this. Beez ... in the trap?????? ]
no subject
[Caesar is just sort of. Nearby-ish, trying to figure out what the hell a pig in a blanket is even supposed to be (why is American food like this), when the song comes on and just. Just.]
I didn't pick that.
no subject
What ... what is it, exactly?
[ Still listening ... ]
A hundred motherfuckers. Wow.
no subject
[The face is not getting any better. It's just getting . . . more. Worse.]
That's a lot of motherfuckers.

[Joseph shows up at seven and a half minutes. He actually doesn't realize that there's anything on his face for a second, because it's such a weird and foreign feeling and he's focused on Joseph's voice instead - but then he sees it and elbows Joseph hard in the ribs.]
What the hell!
[Because he's hooligan mom, he actually did make sure there were napkins on the table, which he reaches for while he seriously considers smashing Joseph's face into the stupid cake.]
no subject
[That is so rude, Caesar. You aren't supposed to hit the Birthday Boy. Joseph holds onto Caesar momentarily a little tighter and moves closer so he can't do that again. He also smacks Caesar's hand away from the napkins.]
Hey! Don't waste perfectly good frosting!
[He grabs Caesar's chin and turns Caesar's face towards him. Joseph keeps him still while he kisses away the frosting.]

. . . I'm also not completely sure that what I got on the moon are actually chicken eggs.
no subject
[The eggs are another story.]
Where did the eggs come from?
no subject
[The real tragedy here is that Caesar doesn't know the word "shady". Or the phrase "show me the receipts".]

I don't think being healthy is exactly the point of fried chicken.
But I can help, if you need it.

I wouldn't mind it. [Someone save him from his own salt.]

SO. What sort of party are we throwing him? Give me a theme, and I can make wonders happen.

[What the hell is happening.]

[He mentioned a birthday to a party horse. This is his life now. ]
no subject
I think what's going to shout that it's his party is that he's going to eat all the food before anyone else can get there. That's a distinctive theme, isn't it?
