Who: Caesar Zeppeli and u! Also Joseph Joestar's birthday party and u! MULTIPURPOSE
Broadcast: Fleetwide!
Action: Caprine! Because this mess is not happening on his ship.
When: Wednesday, September 23; Sunday, September 27.
video } wednesday, september 23
Someone needs to explain fried chicken to me.
[. . . no, that appears to be the lead-in to this video. Caesar looks a little offended, and he kind of is; this has actually been explained to him, but there are, in his opinion, a hundred better things you could do with a chicken than fry it. Sacrilegious. No one ever take him to an Olive Garden.]
It seems like a good way to dry the chicken out if you're not careful. And frying is so unhealthy. [Why not dunk it in alfredo sauce instead.]
Also, what the hell is coleslaw.
Also, I do need help with some baking. A cake.
[What was the other thing. Oh, yes.]
Joseph Joestar's birthday is this Sunday. He's been forbidden from talking about it, so I encourage everyone to talk to him about it as much as possible.
[What a good friend.]
action } sunday, september 27
[On Sunday, because he is a good friend, an absolute shit-ton of food appears; because he holds the sanctity and cleanliness of his ship to be pretty sacred, it appears in the Caprine's cargo bay. Decorations are hit-or-miss, in part because that's not really his strong suit and in part because he's pretty sure Joseph won't actually care. There's food.]
[Although there are other things too, past the small mountain of non-nutritional-paste foodstuffs. Music, for one thing, although it's a strange mishmash of things that sounded familiar to a 1930s ear, things that didn't totally offend him, and things that other people contributed. About halfway through the afternoon, something roughly analogous to hip-hop crackles across the speakers, startling everyone, if by everyone you mean probably just Caesar.]
[It's a party, y'all. Have fun. Don't let Joseph eat all the fried chicken.]
( ooc; OBVIOUSLY THIS POST WAS SUPPOSED TO GO UP SOONER, but due to Reasons it did not. if you don't mind, please keep birthday mingle stuff under the toplevel i put up for it - otherwise go nuts and have fun! ♥ )

What do you want, Jojo?
no subject
Well, I thought about it. I did like having a free lunch every day, but I might get sick of seeing you all the time like that. And besides, it'd be meaningless if you're taking me to lunch because you have to. [He pauses to kiss Caesar's cheek.] And then I thought up about ten different ways I could embarrass the hell out of you, but I'd like for you to talk to me again.
[He lets go with one arm to ruffle Caesar's hair.]
So, I thought about it a little more and I know exactly what I want. [He wraps his arm back around Caesar.] I'd tell you to guess, but we both know that's my trick. I'll save you the agony of trying to figure it out because I'm a nice guy.
[Jojo.]
I want you to dance with me.
no subject
[He blinks a little, still somehow stunned at all of the . . . everything that's happening right now. Not the touching but the kissing, because for some reason he didn't predict that Joseph's need for near-constant touch would extend that far. It never bothered him before and it doesn't exactly bother him now, but he's - not used to it. From someone who matters. Maybe that's it.]
[. . . A nice guy.]
I didn't know you knew how to dance.
no subject
Of course I do! Just because I had other hobbies aside from chasing after girls all the time... [He rolls his eyes and then finds somewhere else to look, muttering,] I learned for Granny.
no subject
[His arms tighten a little instinctively, pulling Joseph closer. Doomed. Just doomed, forever, he's doomed.]
Of course you did. That's - of course you did.
. . . You probably shouldn't waste your free pass on something I'd do anyway.
no subject
[And also, Joseph is confident of the fact that there's very little Caesar wouldn't do for him anyway. So, most anything he asks for is going to be a waste or just too serious for their silly little competitions.]
no subject
[He is ten thousand percent not criticizing at all. Five minutes ago he was really adamant about not being gross in public, and that's gone to total shit, so whatever. Who cares. Dance with him.]
If that's what you want, then that's the deal.
This isn't really dancing music, though.
no subject
Well no, it's not if you're looking to ballroom dance or something. [If you ask Joseph, you can dance to any music.] You're not trying to get out of this already, are you?
no subject
[. . . he said, fucking instantly.]
I just don't really know what we're listening to. That's all.
no subject
And you think I do? You're not worried about doing something embarrassing, are you?
no subject
[It might, Caesar. It might.]
no subject
What did I do that was so embarrassing?
no subject
You put frosting on my nose.
no subject
no subject
[He does not know the word gross. So he just huffs a little and shrugs.]

[(And that is it, actually; he's weirdly possessive of this, less because he doesn't want people to know and more because he's seesawing wildly from previous behavior and wants all of these memories just for himself. Some part of him is also vaguely aware that PDA is uncomfortable to people and that Joseph is a huge fucking hypocrite, but that's not the primary part.)]
[(Anyway.)]
[Caesar narrows his eyes and that's pretty much the only warning there is before he closes the already-very-small space between them and kisses Joseph long and slow, his hand resting at the small of his back to keep him exactly where he is. They're in public, yes, but he also hates losing, and he hates losing to Joseph most of all, so if he can prove him wrong and make him a little breathless all at the same time, he will honestly take it.]
no subject
[He's a little annoyed at first because he knows he just lost, but hell...if this is losing? Joseph can't really find any complaints. He kisses back, a hand coming up to hold his cheek as he lets Caesar take his breath away.]
no subject
[And maybe he wants to rub it in a little, how easy it is to make Joseph weak like this. So he's leaning up on his toes before long, getting as close as he can, tilting his head so he can deepen the kiss. His other hand rests flat against Joseph's chest, feeling his heartbeat, and he makes a wordless pleased sound into Joseph's mouth and smiles. I win.]
[Because he's a bad sport about these things, he only pulls away very slowly, kisses lingering and long between half-breaths; and when he does actually pull away, he only does it after punctuation, a quick bite to Joseph's lower lip, possessive.]
[Sinking back onto the soles of his feet, he looks up at Joseph evenly, pleased and content that he's made his point. But just in case:]
Being with you doesn't embarrass me.
no subject
[His eyes flutter open by the time Caesar speaks and there's still a light warmth to his cheeks. He's more aware of the sound of Caesar's voice than the words, but who cares what Caesar is saying? After a kiss like that, he's perfectly okay with agreeing with whatever the hell Caesar has to say.]
Okay.
no subject
Good.
[He kisses Joseph again, just because he can, one very quick kiss, and then grabs him by the chin and shakes his face a little bit.]
So dance with me, idiota.
no subject
[He kisses back to that one quick kiss and makes a face at having his face shaken around a little. He swats at Caesar's hand on his chin, pulling away.]
Hey! Knock it off or I'll change my mind!
[Of course, Joseph doesn't even sound or look the least bit annoyed with Caesar no matter how hard he's trying to right now. It also doesn't help that he's pulling Caesar along with him either.]
no subject
[Joseph wouldn't let him get away that easily, he knows it. It's not as though they're even half as good alone as they are together.]
no subject
no subject
Well, you wouldn't, would you.
