001 // action for bishop (or people in shuttles); private voice to michiru
[ action - aboard the bishop ]
[ Hopefully nobody's too fond of going out in the shuttles on this ship. One of them has been missing for hours at a time ever since the beginning of the week.
If you wait around long enough for it to return, however, you'll find a tall young "man" ducking out of the shuttle and heading down the corridor. Lost in thought as they are, this person isn't watching in front of them.....
Alternatively, should anyone in the Fleet also enjoy joyriding, that shuttle has been flying around and trying experimental maneuvers. Whoever's at the controls seems pretty good at coaxing speed out of something that isn't currently built for that, but they also don't seem to have a goal in mind. They're even drifting in what, to someone aboard a ship, might look like an upside-down position. ]

This is Haruka. I've investigated the shuttles.

Still, she'll take that? As a compliment? For lack of anything better to say?? ] ...Anytime.

Anyway, if you want, I can show you around. I still haven't met some of the people on this ship, but I at least know where everything is.

[ You've already expressed a desire to not be flirted with, so she'll
save that for special occasionsleave things at that. Haruka looks down the hall, which...well, the decor is pretty much the opposite of exciting. ] There's really not much to do, huh...no subject
[Sorry, Haruka, she's just literally incapable of realizing when she's being flirted with until it becomes extremely obvious.
She manages to keep a straight face long enough to turn her back to Haruka, walking off in the direction of the kitchens to start the tour.]

[ Michiru is also not her wife, but Haruka will let that slide. The thought amuses her, though, so if Nightingale looks back at the tourist she'll discover an extremely entertained look on Haruka's face.
She's gamely following her tour guide, though! ]

[It's amazing how ominous she can make that sound.]
no subject
[ Does Haruka want to know, though? Much safer to notice the approaching door. ] What's in here?
no subject
This is the kitchen.
[The door slides open, so Nightingale walks in.]
Don't try to eat the protein-stuff, it's... awful.

[ They'd discussed it before, but it sounded like a rare event. ]

And do any of these machines make coffee? ]
no subject
[There is a coffee pot! ... But no coffee, according to the ships page. Nightingale will just completely misinterpret what 'his' poking around means.]
... Are you hungry? I can make you something before we continue the tour.
no subject
[ Oh. Oh, right. Haruka laughs. ] Don't trouble yourself.

Given the limited space (and her height), Haruka can't stay completely out of the way, but she'll try. ]

[She's filing away Haruka in her head as being like Swan, that 'he' won't say things like this directly. She can deal with that.
That said, she makes a jerking motion with an arm like she's pulling on something, and a pile of ingredients levitate from around the kitchen over to her.]

[That answers that, huh? She's repressing a smirk, though, as she gets out a chunk of meat and starts dicing it.]

[ Yes, just mild-mannered super-racer Tenoh Haruka here. Nothing magical about her or her universe at all. ] They don't curb your abilities?
no subject
[Boring homeworld? You must be from that goddamn 'Earth' place. She hates that place.]
