[he opens up a video feed and adjusts it so that everyone can see... well... something like this going on where he's cleared space in the engine room. it's metal pipes rather than sharp swords, but the thought is still there... the camera moves and Robin's dumb face shows up, grinning--]

Okay, okay. Hey.

You, me. Robot arms that fight each other.

I'll open bets and the rest of my booze. Come on, who's in?

Nice. I'm partial to that guy, silly as it is. We had an easier time with his configuration.

[he wiggles the right arm a little bit, the pipe securely tilting in the air to show how it works~]

Next time you're at a waystation, I'll think about it.

Ah... [a pause...] We can't really park at a waystation until I dismantle these again. They're only supposed to be up for a few more hours.

Hey, they're not vital if we don't intend to land. I'll put them back before it's an issue.

I suppose the ships can dock on each other?

[he laughs. this is still dumb.]

So, yeah. If you can manage, I'll be hanging around... [and he rattles off some coordinate.]

[Who's the captain? SHE'S the captain. That means she can drag the ship around on stupid robot arm errands, no matter what Coil and Zhas have (or don't have) to say about it. It's not long until they're docking ooooh Bloodsport oooh]

[ooooh, since he is the captain of his own ship, he will happily accept her request to dock. he'll meet her at the door with a friendly wave and a charming smile!]

Welcome to the Bloodsport, Captain.

[She waves right back, all shipshape and mellow.]

Thank you, Captain. Show me your babies.

[and he can't not giggle, with something like that. he'll turn and gesture for her to follow him right down the hall.]

It looks like most people's layouts are pretty much the same, ship to ship... It's in the engine room.

[She just follows him, then, quietly looking the ship over as she paces after him. Yeah, it's pretty much the same.]

What a drag. I figure these things must be factory produced to be so standardized - pretty impressive if you think about it.

Pretty sure no other ship has our weird dip in the ceiling in the kitchen, though.

Can't imagine why that's there.

[he ducks into the engine room--where there may or may not be helpers. there are also two impressive robot arms, just like in the video.]
