[Sokka has already found himself the correct winter wear for this planet. It's nothing like his traditional Southern Water Tribe getup, but they'll do the job. He smiles at the camera, waving the spear he's managed to make for himself.]

Hey guys! I know not everyone's big on the eternal winter planet, but I grew up in the South Pole, so this is the sort of place I'm used to. Anyway, I figured I'd head out and get us some food. Fish, try and get a couple elk and stuff. I've been working on an ice box in the cargo hold, so we should be able to keep it fresh for a while, too. Anyone's welcome to join me, but if you don't feel like it, don't worry, I'll make sure there's plenty of food to go round for all of us.

[He's not even trying to be a decent captain, really. After providing for his tribe for so much of his life, and team Avatar after that, this sort of thing is natural to him. He grins, giving the camera a gloved thumbs up.]

We'll be feasting tonight, guys! WOOOO!

[ACTION;]

[Sokka can be found by anyone who's braving the wintery planet. Perhaps you'll catch him in the habited areas, haggling with a couple natives on some hunting gear. Or perhaps you'll find him stalking through the tundras, hunting the animals who are, indeed adorable, but are also made of delicious meat.

One of the few times you'll find him sitting quietly are when he's sat himself on a frozen patch of water, ice fishing. But be quiet or you'll scare the food.]

[He smiles.] We got a new girl, too. She seems pretty okay.

Is that so? What's her name?

[She finishes the one fish, starts on the next. The work is familiar... comfortable in a way.]

[It's nice, really. It's like going home, real home, before the Fire Nation crushed what was left of his tribe. The quietness of just...work. ]

[Her eyes flatten slightly, in thought - in memory.]

She used to be on my crew.

Oh! She said she'd been here before, then kinda...skipped some time? It sounds weird to me.

[He grins.] If you want her back, you're gonna have to fight me for her. She's great.

Nunnally can decide what she wants to do. [Hange shrugs, another fish finished and put aside.]

I'm a little concerned that she doesn't remember what happened. We should all be at home, finishing our duties there. But I'm glad that she's safe, at least.

Well, yeah. If she wants to go. [Man, he hopes she doesn't.]

It's weird, and it's worrying. That they've got the power to do that to us. Change our memories like it's nothing. I promise, though, that I'll keep her safe for as long as she's on the Blue Fish.

[He may not be able to do much. The power they're dealing with is beyond any of them, as arrogant as some members of this fleet might be.

She refrains from saying that, though. If he has any wit, he likely knows that well enough and it'd only rub that in his face. Besides... against that, she's equally unequipped to defend Nunnally.

... That said, she'd totally love to steal her back. >:}]

Well, I'm pleased to know she's in good hands, at any rate.

Oh yeah? Good for him. [Parents are always teachers in her world too. She keeps on gutting fish, relaxed.]

What's your home like, hmm?

Right now?

[He shrugs.] Not great. There's a big war, and everything is on the verge of being taken over by a power hungry madman if we don't win the battle I was in the middle of when I got dragged here.

So you arrived at a bad time, huh? Well, kiddo, you're not the only one...

Sure have. Not to go too much into a complicated situation, but my student got kidnapped and my allies went out to rescue him. Personally, I had to stay behind due to injuries.

[She shrugs in a fluid motion.]

Injuries that were healed when I arrived here. But I can't say I'm not eager to get home.

Oh. I'm sorry to hear that.

[He offers her a smile.]

Well, as soon as I work a way outta here, I promise you'll be the first person I tell.

Haha, good luck, kiddo. Don't fixate too much on doing it alone, though.

[She picks up another fish... working her way through his catch nicely, here.]

Oh don't worry, I won't. I know teamwork is important.

Good! I'm sure we'll have the opportunity to work together, then.

[Frozen flesh goes snick-snick, and she sets the last fish aside - nicely caught up.]

Mind explaining your fishing set-up to me here? It seems like a good idea.

What, ice fishing? [He beams.] Sure, it's pretty easy. You find a good, solid piece of ice, and drill a hole in it. You just need a really small, simple rod [he jiggles his, a little] and you go for it. Maybe if I was gonna be here all day, I'd bring a shelter to put over the hole too, to keep me warm.

How'd you drill the hole? Will it stay open after you leave? Enough to break the ice again by hand, I mean.

[He picks up one of the 'spears' beside him with his free hand. It's got a rather chunky, almost saw-like blade attached to it.]

We just cut through it with this. Sometimes, it's too thick and you have to move on to another spot. And I guess? So long as you didn't leave it for too long.

[He looks up at the sky.] Depends on how quickly it gets cold here. You'd get a couple hours, tops, I'd guess.
