[It's not a very big surprise to see Elize on her own on like this, but ever since hearing about her near kidnapping it's not something Jove is particularly in love with seeing. She knows Elize can handle herself, and that she'll be even better at doing exactly that with Cassandra's lessons, but it still doesn't sit quite right.

If someone had told her months ago she'd come to feel this protective over a shemlen child, Jove would have laughed herself sick. She'd go out of her way to see to it than any child was safe, but this? This would have been unthinkable if it weren't for Atroma bringing her here.]

Hello, da'len. [There's that elvish word pet name she'd taken to using for Elize again, something close to little one but with a much more familial feeling to it.] Have you found anything exciting to buy?

[ She still doesn't know what da'len means, even though it's not the first time she heard it from Jove. Yet she automatically responds to the name regardless. ]

Jove!

[ When Elize turns to look up at her with a smile, the staff that she's holding near her side becomes more noticeable. It's the staff that Jove crafted for her awhile back, with a little ribbon added on the end of it, a finishing touch by Elize. Now she can bludgeon shady people with her staff and punch like Cassandra when they get close. ]

Not really.

[ She pokes through a rack of casual clothes with the end of her staff. Nothing but plain t-shirts, jeans, and shorts in boring colors. ]

I've seen these before at the other waystations.

[That's certainly a sight that settles the bit of worry Jove had been feeling. Good, she's protected as well as she can be without a permanent armed guard.

With a smile, she joins Elize in sifting through the clothes. It's less odd to her now, the shapes of modern clothing, but she'll take Dalish clothing over this any day.]

You would think they would add something new every now and then. Perhaps they've run out of ideas.

[ She pulls a white shirt out from the rack. It's a little too big and could almost pass as a long shirt dress for Elize. She might be able to wear it if any of her plain nightgowns get dirty.

Of course she prefers something more cuter and fancier, like the ruffly dress that Jiao gave her in Hamil. There were a few dresses like that at the casino station, but they were far too expensive. ]

...My idea is that they should add ribbons and ruffles.

[ Perhaps with some poof and pink. ]

[It's not the most amazing shirt ever, no, but it has enough structure that it could be something if they were creative enough.]

I think we could add some ribbons and ruffles to that, if you wanted to. It wouldn't be difficult at all.

[ Elize isn't the one that can sew. She holds up the shirt, trying to picture it more like a dress in her head. ]

Ruffles on the trim and maybe a pink ribbon on the front? Or on the sleeves.

[ That would be cute, right... ]

[There's got to be more colors of fabric for them to use for this new project hidden in the racks, so Jove moves to search for something appropriate.]

I used to put together quite a bit of the armor my inner circle used, in Thedas. I could teach you, if you like. Ah, here. We can use this for the ribbon.

[She holds up a shirt that isn't very flattering on the hanger, but is a very pretty shade of pink.]

[ The more she learns about Jove, the more amazing Elize thinks she is. ]

I would be happy to learn.

[ When it came to sewing or patching up clothing, she had to rely on the elder villagers of Hamil. After leaving the village, then it was Sharil Manor's butler who was happy to fix up her clothes.

Seeing the pink shirt, her eyes light up. It probably wouldn't have mattered what kind of pink shade it was. ]

That's a great find, Jove!

You know, you remind me a little of a dwarf I know at home sometimes. Her name is Dagna, and she nearly convinced our quartermaster to redo all the armor in pink. She wanted to call us the Pinkquisition. She would love you.

[And that pink shirt is coming off the hanger, because after that reaction there's no way she's letting Elize go home without it.]

Do you have any other colors you're fond of?

A dwarf? I've never met a dwarf before...

[ She only hears about them in stories, much like elves. But now she knows plenty of elves on the fleet. ]

That's too bad you couldn't be the Pinkquisition. I think that's a great idea.

[ She sounds serious.

And asking her what other colors she likes is kind of a difficult question for a little girl who calls herself a "propinkist". She's tempted to answer pink again, but she tries to think of the colors of some of her other favorite things. ]

Um... purple? Like my doll Teepo.

Really? Varric is a dwarf, if you've met him. He doesn't entirely fit the description, I suppose, since he is missing the big beard.

[She laughs softly at that, because it's about the opinion she would have expected from Elize.]

Cullen would look dashing in pink, I'm sure.

Oh... I haven't met him.

[ Yet? ]

Daddy would look adorable! [ The way she says it sounds more like what you'd call a nug or rappig. Just about anything pink is described as adorable for Elize. ] We should get him something too.
